Frequency, Rate Meter, Flow Rate Indicator
-
Two independent scalable pulse-input channels from 0 Hz to 1 MHz. Channels may be combined arithmetically. One channel can display total while other displays rate. High read rate for control applications: AC line frequency can be measured to 50.0000 or 60.0000 Hz in a few line cycles. Ideal for use as a tachometer or readout of a turbine flow meter.

Stroboscopes
-
SHIMPO allow the users to view an object that is moving at high speeds appear to be slow-moving, or stationary. Our strobes include many features like phase shifting. The digital displays allow the flash rate (FPM) to be read as rotation speed measurement (RPM) or reciprocation speed for conditions where a hand held tachometer is impractical.ShimpoInstruments.com offers stroboscopes designed for quality control, motion analysis and maintenance procedures included, production line checks, gear movement and engagement, propellers, turbines, monitoring vibrating parts, oil leak checks and a host of other industrial and scientific operations.

Bat Deterrent Systems
-
As White-Nose Syndrome continues to ravage the populations of many hibernating bat species, the wind industry remains committed to lessening its impact on wildlife, including contributing to bat fatalities. While it is well researched that wind turbines cause mortality to bats, successful minimization methods have been implemented. Presently, the most effective techniques involve curtailment, which requires a reduction in energy generation. NRG Systems understands that this is not an ideal option for wind plant operators, so we have set out to develop Bat Deterrent Systems that could significantly reduce bat take without curtailment, meaning operators can produce more renewable energy more of the time while keeping all bats out of harm’s way.

Small/Medium Capacity Torque Detector
SS series
-
The SS series torque detector suits to wide variety of torque measurement application, including performance test of motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines and gears. High rigidity results from the unitized cast-casing structure and SS series torque detector can be handled easily as being free from parts replacement on treatment of maintenance, comparing to other type of torque detector such as strain gauges, with non contact signal detection on the detector. 13 models in the series can be provided and chosen among them according to requirement in torque capacity.

Large Electrical Machines Bench Testing
-
The automated system for recording parameters during testing of gas turbine generators consists of several independent but interacting measuring subsystems and a signal conditioning system. The subsystems for recording "fast" signals are implemented on the PXI platform, "slow" signals are registered by a subsystem built on the basis of the Compact FieldPoint platform.

High Temperature Charge Mode Accelerometers
-
Charge mode output accelerometers from PCB® use piezo-ceramic sensing elements that output an electrostatic charge signal proportional to the applied acceleration. These sensors can operate at extremely high temperatures because they do not contain the built-in signal conditioning electronics that limit the temperature range of ICP® accelerometers. Charge mode sensors are used in the testing of gas and steam turbines, jet engines, high power motors, exhaust systems and automobile engines where temperatures can range from 500° F (260° C) to 1200° F (649° C).

Wind Turbine Condition Monitoring
-
It has also become increasingly apparent in recent years that the wind turbine industry has recognised the importance of condition-based monitoring, especially for offshore wind turbines, where access is often limited. To increase reliability and minimise down time, many wind turbine manufacturers, owners and operators are turning to condition-based monitoring systems, aimed at predicting wind turbine maintenance issues, so that operators can quickly and effectively carry out predictive maintenance, repairs and replacements of components when needed, without the need for costly routine maintenance checks and visits. As a result, a condition monitoring system increases operational time, improves site performance and reduces maintenance costs for wind turbines, especially offshore ones.
