They are also available with an optional hardware interlock which, when activated, will return all optical switches to their default unpowered state.

Next Generation Network Testing
UX400
The VeEX UX400 is the smallest multi-service transport test solution to offer test capabilities ranging from DS1/E1 all the way up to 6x 100G traffic generation, supporting the latest 100G/40G optical pluggable form factors (CFP4, CFP2, CFP, QSFP28, QSFP+, no adapters required). Its modular architecture allows for up to six independent test modules and up to twelve concurrent tests or combinations of tests, including legacy PDH/DSn, SDH/SONET, OTN, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, CPRI/OBSAI, C/DWDM spectrum analysis and more. The platform's software architecture has been developed so that multiple users or scripts are able to access and operate different test modules at the same time, maximizing the use of resources. The One For All is an all-in-one network tester, tone generator, cable tester, and port ID finder. It comes with a remote unit, allowing pin-by-pin tests of installed cables in addition to patch cables. The office ID feature allows the user to check the ID number of up to 100 networks or patch panel outlets without labeling the cables manually, and the tone generator traces cable using a tone detectable by any market tone probe. Optical Time Domain Reflectometers
An optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) is a precision instrument used to locate events or faults along a fiber link, typically within an optical communications network. The OTDR launches a series of high speed optical pulses into the fiber to be measured. Various events on the fiber generates a Rayleigh back scatter that returns to the OTDR and the strength of the return pulses are measured and integrated as a function of time, and plotted as a function of fiber length. The horizontal axis is the distance and the vertical axis is the loss.

32 Channel Optically Isolated Digital Card
104-IDIO-16 Family
The Model 104-IDIO-16 is a 32-channel PC/104 utility board featuring 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 optically isolated solid state outputs. The isolated, non polarized inputs may be driven by either DC sources of 3-31V (or higher by special order) or AC sources at frequencies of 40Hz to 10KHz. Optically isolating the digital inputs from each other, and from the computer, assures smooth, error-free data transmission in noisy, real-world environments. The 16 input channels are available via a 34-pin IDC type header. The fully protected solid state outputs, capable of sourcing 2A each, are inherently more reliable than electromechanical relays and give system architects a more robust product to design with. The solid state outputs are available via a 50 pin IDC type header.
