The SC800 nanoSynth® is a fully integrated broadband CW signal synthesizer that combines multiple PLL, DDS, and frequency dividers into a rugged and miniature 2”x1” surface mountable package. The output frequency range is 25 MHz to 6 GHz with average output power of +10 dBm. Tuning at 1 Hz resolution, the multiple PLL architecture eliminates close-in phase spurs that are associated with fractional-N PLLs. To simplify user communication with the device, an onboard microprocessor performs all necessary computations to control and set the output frequency, reducing the number and complexity of instruction registers.

Composite inductors are constructed by inserting a pre-wound coil over pre-press magnetic core and then pressing or molding a magnetic material around this assembly. The composite inductors are very similar to molded but typically offer lower DCR and lower overall losses. Our composite core inductors provide a fully shielded, high energy density, soft saturation solution for applications up to 120Apk. The construction enables the highest energy density of any available SMT inductors and also minimizes acoustic noise. Round Wire Coil Inductors

Round wire coil (RWC) inductors come in six platform sizes and enable the highest efficiency of any SMT inductor through the use of a low loss ferrite core material which minimizes AC losses and also eliminates thermal ageing. The use of round magnetic wire instead of rectangular flat coils enables a lower cost while still maintaining a low DCR and small footprint. The platforms have passed the AEC-Q200 stress test qualification proving the designs robustness and suitability to difficult environments but the parts are not IATF certified. The platform range from 7.6×7.4×6.4mm to 26x26x15mm and are suitable for a wide range of applications and markets including communications, computing and industrial.

The SMT adapter consists of standard high temperature FR4 with plugged via technology, eutectic SN63PB37 solder balls or SAC lead free solder balls and threaded inserts for mounting the socket. The top side of adapter has SMT pads to receive socket interconnect and the bottom side has appropriate solder balls for corresponding pitch. This FR4 adapter with balls can be soldered to the SMT pads in the target board. Then socket can be mounted to the threaded insert on the FR4 adapter.
