The USB Tester has both banana clip sized drills and standard 0.1" headers. When you are not testing current you can add a jumper for normal operation. DSO 138
DSO138 was designed as a training oscilloscope kit. It contains only the basic oscilloscope functions with no fancy features. Simplicity in structure and easiness in assembly/operation are amongst the main highlights of the design. For these purposes, DSO138 uses mostly through-hole parts. The heart of DSO138 is a Cortex-M3 ARM processor (STM32F103C8) from ST. It uses a 2.4-inch TFT LCD (320 X 240 dotmatrix, 262K colors) that displays crisp and clear waveforms.

Oscilloscope
When the Generator is active, the actual output levels are controlled by the Volume/dB dialog (F9 key, or button on the Generator Control dialog), but the screen display remains full-scale because it shows the digital signal as generated, before conversion to analog and attenuation by the output mixer volume controls. (The digital waveform size is set by the Generator Level controls for the active streams on each channel.)

Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.

The micro probes are used to measure magnetic fields and they have a high resolution. They measure magnetic fields up to 6 GHz, e.g. at signal conductors (150µm), SMD components (0603-0201) or IC pins. The MFA micro probes are guided by hand.
