Imaging Modules
Teledyne e2v has developed compact MIPI modules which feature our own high performance CMOS image sensors inside a pre-focused, industrial-grade scanning optic. As a turnkey sensor/optics for imaging systems, these modules offers customers significant reduction in development time and cost savings. Only a few screws are needed to mount the module, with simple connection to the image processing system through an FPC cable connector. Software development efforts can also be reduced by using some limited API-layer Linux software drivers. This enables the module to be seamlessly interfaced to popular ISP platforms.

SWIR Imagers
SWIR imagers (short wavelength infrared) are an important group of surveillance electro-optical imagers due several reasons. First, advances in InGaAs technology enabled design of relatively low cost SWIR imagers. Second, InGaAs imagers are very sensitive and can generate images of observed scenery even at dark nights. Third, SWIR imagers are less vulnerable to bad atmospheric conditions than TV/LLLTV cameras working in visible/near infrared band. Fourth, SWIR imagers can generate hi-res images even if they are built using much smaller optics than used for design of thermal imagers.

Dione 640 OEM Series
The Dione 640 OEM series is based on an uncooled 12 μm pitch microbolometer detector with a 640 × 480 resolution. The NETD is less than 40 mK (available upon request) or 50 mK. The cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). The overall size of the OEM core is 25 x 25 x 10 mm3 and weight is 6 gr. It utilizes Xenics image enhancement for advanced image processing while keeping power consumption low. All Dione 640 versions have the same SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant.The ultra-compact Dione 640 OEM series find application in safety and security systems, as well as in industrial thermal imaging systems.
