Radio Frequency Scoring Tool
RFST
The Radio Frequency (RF) Scoring Tool (RFST) takes the guess work out of RF environment simulation. During RF environment simulation, the RFST provides clear persistent scoring and recording of the RF simulator’s performance. The RFST digitizes all RF signals in the form of digital Pulse Descriptor Words (PDWs) and associated In-phase/Quadrature (I-Q) data. This massive data stream is recorded for later (Post-Scenario) Analysis. Additionally, the RFST provides a real-time visual display of the accuracy of the RF output, easily visible through straight forward real-time indicators. The post analysis tool set allows an unlimited number of users to simultaneously assess previous RF simulator performance with compelling visual representations. Frequency Doublers To 12 GHz
Pulsar Microwave Frequency Doublers utilize Schottky diodes in a bridge configuration to accomplish the frequency doubling. The input frequency operates from 0.2 to 6000 MHz. Frequency Quadruplers are also available using using this topology. Teledyne Defence & Space’s Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) module, also known as a Digital Frequency Discriminator (DFD), offers high speed frequency measurement across the full operating bandwidth.The IFM measures the frequency of RF signal present at its input and presents a result at its output as digital data. The RF input signal is conditioned by an RF amplifier that provides sufficient drive for the frequency resolving circuits. The raw video from the resolvers is digitised and processed into the required output format. There is additional timing and control circuitry which initiates the measurement process and provides handshake data to the host system processor.

ProDAQ 3808
The ProDAQ 3808 function card, an enhanced version of the ProDAQ 3806 counter/timer function card, is designed to operate in one of three modes: pulse counter, frequency meter, or time interval counter. In the pulse counter and frequency measurement modes, users can process incoming signals of up to 25 MHz on each of the six channels. A time interval counter range is divided into six sub-ranges, covering times from 40 ns to 20000 s with a maximum resolution of 10 ns. For pulse-width measurements, the same ranges apply.
