ESCP-SAPT Transmitter
ESCP-SAPT pressure transmitters consist of a MEMS capacitive pressure sensor die, which is underpinned by ES’ innovative microfabrication process that has been proven suitable for the mechanical, radiation and temperature environment of space applications. The full custom, radiation-hardened signal conditioning IC was designed entirely by ES, utilizing a standard deep submicron CMOS process of a European foundry.

Ballistic Pressure Sensors

Pressure/ Vacuum Sensors
There are three different types of pressures that can be measured using Premier Electrosystems' Pressure Sensors: Gauge, Absolute, and Differential. Gauge pressure is the pressure measured relative to the ambient atmospheric pressure.A typical application for a gauge pressure sensor is to measure liquid levels in a vented tank using the difference in hydrostatic pressure and ambient atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure sensors will give the result relative to zero (a perfect vacuum). This is useful in applications where there is a direct effect of altitude on the pressure being measured. Differential pressure sensors measure the difference in pressure between two points. Differential pressure sensors are often used to monitor airflow in HVAC applications.

Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pressure Sensors
One of the toughest applications for pressure sensors is measuring high pressure, repetitive pulses, such as those encountered in hydraulic applications. However, our pressure sensors are designed to continuously measure repetitive pulses during applications such as hydraulic cylinder “torture” testing or diesel fuel injection. Ordinary diaphragm-type sensors usually fatigue quickly in such applications.

High Sensitivity Pressure Sensors
