Linear variable differential transformers (LVDT) are electrical transformer sensors to measure linear displacement. Driven by an AC excitation source, the LVDT generates a pair of AC output signals modulated according to the core's mechanical position (displacement). These transducers have low hysteresis and excellent repeatability.

The M8K429 is an ARINC-429 multi-channel test and simulation module to be used on the Excalibur 8000 family of carrier boards. The module supports up to five ARINC-429 channels in any combination of transmitters and receivers. Each of these channels feature error injection and detection capabilities. The receive channels allow for the storage of all selected Labels with status and time tag information appended to each word. The receivers allow for filtering and multi-storage modes of Data Words. The transmit channels operate via a transmit ‘instruction stack’ which allows scheduling of data transmissions and reduces the need for host computer intervention.The M8K429 comes complete with C-driver software library including the source code.

Solar Simulator Continuous Light
This type of solar simulator uses Xenon high pressure arc lamps as light source. These lamps have a colour temperature near 5800 K, so it is feasible to filter the light output to an excellent AM 1.5 spectrum. If a tuneability of the spectrum is required, these lamps can be combined with tungsten lamps to achieve multi-source solar simulators. These can be used to measure tandem/triple/multijunction solar cells. They also allow detailed analysis of all types of solar cells using a spectral metric (see : Publication List).
