Frequency Response Analyzers
Frequency Response Analysis (also referred to as Transfer Function Analysis) measures the output spectrum of a system relative to a stimulus, and is used to characterize the dynamics of the system under test. The technique measures the magnitude and phase relationship between output and input waveforms as a function of frequency. The input signals may be from a wide range of sensors including acoustic (microphones/sonar), mechanical (accelerometers/displacement transducers), optical (photodetectors), and electrical (amplifiers).

Frequency Meter, 3.7 to 12.5 GHz
537A
The Keysight 537A direct-reading frequency meter measures frequencies from 3.7 to 12.5 GHz quickly and accurately. Its long scale length and numerous calibration marks provide high resolution. This is particularly useful when measuring frequency differences or small frequency changes. Frequency is read directly in GHz so interpolation or charts are not required.

Frequency Response Analyzers
350C Series
Venable Model 350c is the 3 channel successor to the original workhorse Model 350a/b that launched in 1986 and established Venable Instruments as a market leader. The contemporary 350c Series incorporates a 3rd channel, allowing the user to measure more transfer functions simultaneously with one sweep, such as source and load impedance. The 350c is the only frequency response analyzer in the industry that can measure absolute phase, using a reference channel.

Single Frequency Lasers
A single-frequency laser is a type of laser which operates within a singular resonator mode, achievable when the net gain bandwidth of the laser remains narrower than the frequency spacing of the resonator modes. In cases where the mode spacing isn’t adequately large to support a single resonator mode, single-frequency operation is maintained through the utilization of intracavity filters. This enables the single-frequency laser to possess an exceedingly narrow linewidth, frequently measuring only a few kHz, and an extended coherent length. A clear association exists between the coherence length and the spectral width of the laser.
