  • HV High Voltage Detector

    The Motwane Manufacturing Company

For decades, Motwane Voltage Detector has been a standard for international quality and safety ratings. Voltage detectors are used to signal the presence of voltage in a conductor since they make visible what we normally can’t see. Its application lies mainly in safety reasons during research, or when a service operation is under way. Most of the time, the monitored conductors come from low impedance sources whose voltage and energies are considered life-threatening.

  • Low Noise Op Amplifiers (≤ 10nV/√Hz)

    Analog Devices Inc.

Analog Devices’ portfolio of low noise (≤ 10nV/√Hz) op amps includes many amps with the lowest noise performance in the industry. These high speed, low distortion (1 nV or less) op amps enable better signal fidelity in the most demanding conditions, allowing system designers to achieve the lowest total system noise performance in applications with high source impedances. We feature a considerable variety of these amps with wide supply ranges and low power.

  • Circulators

    Teledyne Lincoln Microwave

The most common application of a circulator is as a duplexer, allowing the transmitter and receiver in a radio or radar unit to share a common antenna. Energy is transferred from the RF Source to the antenna during transmit, and from the antenna to the receiver during the receive cycle. In each case the circulator functions to isolate the inactive port from the propagated signal. Most importantly, the transmitter output is not passed to the receiver input, preventing the high transmitter power from damaging the sensitive receiver input circuits.

  • Digital Audio Snake System

    OmniSnake - En Technology

The OmniSnake consists of a Stage Box that converts microphone/line-level analog inputs to a multiplexed digital signal, and a companion Base Unit that de-multiplexes to provide individual outputs. Digitizing the analog audio at the source eliminates the potential for ground loops, noise interference and crosstalk. Each Stage Box has 8 inputs, and two Stage Boxes can be linked together via coax to form a combined 16 channels, which is carried over coaxial cable to the Base Unit.

  • Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier

    EDFA - Fibotec Fiberoptics GmbH

EDFAs are based on the light amplification in erbium-doped fiber, which are optically pumped by means of 980 nm or 1480 nm light sources. In this way, the light of a larger wavelength within the C or L band applied to the input of the amplifier is amplified, thus widening the range of optical communication links. EDFAs typically operate in saturation and the average signal power determines the average gain. The dynamics of EDFA are unaffected by the sequence and dynamics of a digital signal or channel interaction in DWDM systems. As a result, multiple channels can be bundled within the total erbium spectral amplification bandwidth. However, the total average output power in both cases is determined by the saturation power of the specific EDFA.
