  • Electric Attitude Gyroscopes

    5000EG-series - Sigma Tek, Inc.

The 5000EG gyro is based on our air-driven 5000B model, whose proven reliability has made it the industry standard for many years. There are two models available: 14 and 28 VDC. The rotor is precisely machined from a heavy-metal tungsten alloy, which has a higher mass than brass, contributing to the instrument’s demonstrated stability. The electric motor is driven by a built-in power inverter, and has an integrated air-erection mechanism. A warning flag is deployed upon loss of primary power. During acrobatic flights or short stops, the gyro’s mechanism can be caged whenever the knob is pulled.

  • Next Generation Subsea Attitude and Heading Reference Systems

    TOGS - Teledyne Marine TSS

The new TOGS subsea navigation system is built on core TSS fibre optic gyro (FOG) navigation technology with significant improvements in efficiency and functionality. It is available in three standard heading accuracy variants: 0.1° (TOGS1), 0.3° (TOGS3) and 0.5° (TOGS5), all rated for operational depths to 4,000m or 6,000m. Attitude data is delivered via accurate roll/pitch measurement capabilities of 0.01° (TOGS1) and 0.05° (TOGS3 and TOGS5), and a heave performance of 5cm or 5%.

  • KMD540 Series and RDR2000/2100 Panel

    TA-3C - Tech-Aid Products

The TA-3C test fixture is a combination of the KMD540 testing requirements and the RDR-2000/2100 weather radar interface requirements. This panel allows the technician to test the KMD540 MFD as a stand alone item (with external simulators) or together with a radar sensor for a dynamic real time test. The panel includes the required switching for sensor alignment and KMD testing along with input jacks for the required data inputs. Also built into the fixture is an analog gyro simulator for checking the stabilization functions of the sensor. The full enclosure comes in standard panel width.

  • Next Generation Subsea Inertial Navigation Systems

    TOGSINS - Teledyne Marine TSS

The new TOGSINS builds on core TSS fibre optic gyro technology by incorporating inertial navigation (INS) capability. As with TOGS, it is available in three standard heading accuracy variants: 0.1° (TOGSINS1), 0.3° (TOGSINS3) and 0.5° (TOGSINS5), all rated for operational depths to 4,000m or 6,000m giving you a range for all your needs.Inertial position data is produced using an INS algorithm, within the firmware framework of TOGS, whilst attitude data is delivered via accurate roll/pitch measurement of 0.01° (TOGSINS1) and 0.05° (TOGSINS3 and TOGSINS5), and a heave performance of 5cm or 5%.

  • Fiber Optic Navigation Systems

    SATURN - Teledyne Marine TSS

SATURN, from Teldyne TSS, is a world leading marine navigation system for surface applications. Built on TSS core fibre optic gyro technology giving unparalleled attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) performance. SATURN offers a fast alignment time of only 10 minutes, from switch-on.It has been designed to address a market need for cost-effective products with competitive specifications for surface use including survey vessels, workboats and commercial shipping vessels. Based on proven FOG technology, and with no moving parts, SATURN is maintenance-free with high MTBF. It is available in three standard heading accuracy variants; 0.1° sec lat (SATURN10), 0.3° sec lat (SATURN30) and 0.5° sec lat (SATURN50).
