Micrometer Positioning Stages
Del-Tron offers a wide range of linear positioners. These micrometer positioning stages and crossed roller positioning stages are available with travels ranging from .25” to 2.0”. All of are linear positioners are available in X, XY and XYZ configurations and can carry loads ranging from 4 lbs on our miniature ball slide series all the way up to 160 lbs on our crossed roller positioning stages. All model numbers are available with inch or metric micrometers and mounting holes.

Positioner HD
The Positioner HD is a two-axis azimuth over elevation positioner, for precise angular positioning with full spherical coverage. Designed for antenna and RF device measurement, the positioner is built out of low-reflection materials, with additional RF shielding for minimal multipath and improved measurement accuracy. A slip ring is included to allow for continuous 360° rotation in both axes. This system is highly configurable, with options for RF rotary joints, slip rings for data communications, and custom sizing. An external motor controller is included by default with the Positioner HD. This motor controller connects to a computer via USB and includes an easy-to-use graphic interface. Other command options include automated macros, manual control knobs, Python, Matlab, or Labview interfaces, or direct control via ASCII commands. The controller also includes a digital I/O trigger system, for precise synchronization with other devices.

RF Coaxial Probes & Probe Positioner
Fairview Microwave’s line of coaxial RF probes and RF PCB probe positioner are ideal for use with chip evaluations, signal integrity measurements, coplanar waveguide, substrate characterization, gigabit SERDES and test fixture applications. The RF coaxial probes provide return loss better than 10 dB and a maximum operating frequency of 20 GHz. The probes have a 3.5mm female interface, a pitch of 800 or 1500 micron and they can be cable-mounted. They feature gold-plated contacts and can be used by hand, with or without a probe positioner. M-011 ultra-high-precision magnetically-coupled stages use the force of integrated magnets to preload the bearing. This magnetic preload results in extremely uniform and smooth motion with minimum friction. Unlike conventional stages, where two bearings with limited parallelism guide the carriage (inducing runout and rotational errors) in M-011 stages, only one of the two linear bearings has a guiding function (V-groove) while the second bearing is for support only (U-groove).

Linear Array

Linear Stages
A new set of motorized tables developed by Klocke Nanotechnik allows high strokes at small volumes. The modules are driven by the Nanomotor®. Loads of up to two kg can be moved over centimeters of stroke with down to 2 nm resolution. Manipulation in many degrees of freedom is possible without backlash. The modules NMT xx-L are longer, but thin like a pencil. In most of the NMT-modules position measurement systems can be included without increasing the size. The resolution of the position sensor is better than 10 nm. All NMT modules can easily be fixed onto each other. Very small connectors allow the exchange of a module without removing cables. The NMT-Zxx are modules for vertical movement. They have an internal load compensation to lift up loads. Nanomotor-Grippers and force sensors that can easily be fixed on these modules are available.
