The AD14-500 series has two 20-500 MS/sec 14-bit ADCs, 8GB of on-board memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the host computer's memory at up to 4GB/sec (500MS/s * 2 bits per sample * 2 channels). Streaming to the host computer can be performed simultaneously with acquisition to on-board memory, increasing the effective acquisition length by using the host computer's memory. Dual channel boards sample concurrently at the input clock frequency, and can also be software selected to run in single channel mode, providing twice the effective memory depth.

Twenty-four enunciator LEDs, one for each relay, light when their associated relay is activated . The SAMPULSE50GHz model contains a 2.4mm combined TDR input/output connector to the common sampler/pulser node in the IC. The SAMPULSE70GHzANT is similar, except that instead of a single-ended 2.4mm connector, the sampler IC's differential inputs are fed from a bowtie antenna. In both models, the IC's differential sampler output is converted, using an AD8009 op amp, into a single-ended ground-referenced output that is sent to an SMA jack labeled SAMPLER OUTPUT.
