  • Bulk Acoustic Wave Technology

BAW - Macom Technology Solutions Holdings Inc.

MACOM’s BAW product portfolio is ideal for high performance Industrial, Aerospace, Defense, and Communications applications that require critical frequency filtering. Our high-performance RF filters enable our customers manage signal integrity in the 1 to 6 GHz frequency range. Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonators consist of two metal electrodes above and below a layer of a piezoelectric material.  The piezoelectric material converts an electrical signal to a mechanical signal and vice versa.  The metal electrodes provide the connections to/from the piezo material.  The frequency at which resonance occurs depends on the thickness of the combined metal-piezo-metal stack.  Advances in thin-film piezoelectric fabrication have enabled BAW resonators to meet RF filtering challenges up to 6000 MHz using standard MEMS fabrication process.  High-performance BAW resonators-based RF filters are made of piezoelectric material having high Q-factor (>3000) and high coupling coefficient. Currently, no competitive technology provides the same high performance for RF filter applications when compared to BAW resonator-based RF filter up to 6000 MHz for the same size and cost.

  • Reach-In Altitude Test Chamber

    ACMAS Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Weiber Altitude Test Chamber combine temperature and altitude to test basic components or subassemblies designed for use in a variety of industries. With altitude test chambers, user can control the temperature environment for testing while simulating various altitudes from site level to 10,400 meters (25kPa). Altitude testing may be continued without temperature control up to 600,000 meters (0.1 kPa).High Low Temperature Altitude Test Chamber is used to test temperature and low-pressure altitude conditions simultaneously. Two common applications of High Low Humidity Altitude Test Chamber are testing of avionics or other aerospace equipment to simulate actual conditions, and simulate high-altitude conditions found in mountainous regions or other regions. All models are factory tested, with an ergonomic and maintenance cum user-friendly design. These CE approved test chambers are created with multi-layered insulation with double vapour barrier is of low 'K' factor, high density and of non-hygroscopic in nature. Weiber test chamber are made in accordance with the international standard. Weiber Test Chambers are GMP complaints and are also ISO and NABL certified.

  • External Measurement Instrument Port | Add-On Option to CableEye HVX Series Testers

  • PCB Systems Vibration and Acceleration Simulation Solution

    Xpedition - Mentor Graphics Corp.

As the industry’s market share leader in PCB design software, the Mentor Graphics® Xpedition product augments mechanical analysis and physical testing by introducing virtual accelerated lifecycle testing much earlier in the design process. This is the industry’s first PCB-design-specific vibration and acceleration simulation solution targeting products where harsh environments can compromise product performance and reliability, including the military, aerospace, automotive and industrial markets. Traditional, physical HALT (highly accelerated lifecycle testing) is conducted just before volume manufacturing, and requires expert technicians, which can result in costly schedule delays. Bridging mechanical and electronic design disciplines, the Xpedition product provides vibration simulation significantly faster than any existing method. This results in increased test coverage and shortened design cycles to ensure product reliability and faster time to market. The Xpedition component modeling library is the most extensive in the industry, comprised of over 4,000 unique 3D solid models which are used to create highly defined parts for simulation. The 3D library allows users to easily match geometries to their 2D cell database. Designers can assemble the parts models on board and automatically mesh them for performance analysis, including stiffeners and mechanical parts. The system modeling tool is ultra-fast since it can model over 1,000 components per minute.
