Programmable Power Supply
The PXIe‑4112 is a programmable DC power supply with isolated outputs. It helps simplify the task of designing automated test systems for a wide range of applications—from aerospace and defense to automotive and component test—by eliminating the need to mix multiple instrumentation form factors in a given test rack. It also has standard output disconnect functionality that allows isolation from the device under test (DUT) when not in use, and remote sense to correct for losses in system wiring.

Based on this foundation, the next generation test benches were developed in the cPCI architecture. Presently, Data Patterns develops cPCI based test systems for Laboratory applications as well as VME based test systems for challenging environmental conditions. Our PXI Function Generator is capable of generating sine, square and triangle waveforms to 10MHz with 48-bit frequency resolution referenced to the 10MHz PXI clock or to an external standard. It can generate fast swept frequency signals, permitting the output to emulate the operation of variable speed devices. The module can also generate arbitrary waveforms loaded into its internal 256k memory, allowing the emulation of many waveform types including the typical waveforms of automotive and aerospace sensors.
