Ultraview''s PCI data acquisition add-in cards are complete data acquisition (A/D) and control (D/A) systems on a single PCI Bus card. Ranging in speed from dual 14 and 12-bit 1-25MSPS boards up to 1500MSPS 8-bit boards with 8GB/16GB of on-board RAM. All cards come with graphical waveform viewers, example user programs (source code included) and device drivers for Linux or Solaris, allowing users to quickly prototype and develop their applications.

AD8-1500DMA Series - 8 bit, 1.56 GS/s - Ultraview Corporation

The AD8-1500DMA series has a 1500 MSPS 8-bit A/D, 8GB/16GB of on-board SDRAM memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the computer system's memory at up to 320 MB/s on 64-bit PCI systems. Sampling is controlled by an onboard oscillator or by an external clock input, which may be in the frequency range between 20 MHz and 1500 MHz. Multiple boards may be configured to acquire either concurrently, for more simultaneous acquisition channels, or sequentially, with an automatic overlap selectable from 0 to nearly 2GB, in 512KB steps, for longer record length. Drivers for 64 bit Linux and Solaris operating systems included.

Model AD8CH12-100DMA has eight simultaneous-sampling 12-bit A/D converters, and can continuously acquire and transfer hundreds of megabytes or even gigabytes of A/D data directly into host system memory at up to 100 MB/s, via 64 or 32 bit PCIbus DMA. It can acquire and transfer eight 8-bit A/D channels at up to 12.5 MSPS each (100MB/sec aggregate), or eight 12-bit A/D channels at up to 6.25 MSPS each, or four 8-bit channels at up to 25 MSPS each, or four 12-bit channels at up to 12.5 MSPS each.
