Digital-to-Analog (D/A) module DA5 provides 4 independent D/A output channels (half-bridge) utilizing a single external supplied power source with full-scale operating range of 0-65 VDC (V-control mode) and 0-2 A (I-control mode). Alternatively, two channels can be paired (full-bridge) to achieve a full-scale operating range of ±65 V and ±2 A from a single external supplied power source. Linearity/accuracy is ±1% FS range over temperature. The DA5 provides either voltage or current control loop modes, which are programmable for the application.
The DA1 module features 12 independent D/A output channels with a full-scale range of ±10 VDC at ± 25 mA (max). The DA1 provides either voltage or current control loop modes that are programmable for the particular application. The DA1 module also offers external trigger/synchronization signal (RS422/485) capability, which provides/accepts a trigger signal to/from other module(s).
The DA2 module features 16 D/A output channels with a full scale range of ±10 VDC at ±10 mA (max). The DA2 module also offers external trigger/synchronization signal (RS422/485) capability, which provides/accepts a trigger signal to/from other module(s).
The DA3 module features 4 high-current D/A output channels with a full-scale range of ±40 VDC or ±100 mA (max). The DA3 provides either voltage or current control loop modes that are programmable for the particular application.
The CD1 provides 6 Chip Detect and Fuzz Burn interface(s). A Chip Detector (CD) is a magnetic-electrical device that provides a reliable method of detecting impending failure of bearings and gears.
Ethernet Switch module, ES2 provides up to 16 10/100/1000 Base-T 1 Gb ethernet ports. Additionally, there is one 10/100/1000 Base-T maintenance port interface, one RS-232 maintenance/console port interface, and a Fiber-Optic channel with four 10 Gb ports. It also provides numerous L2 and L3 networking, quality of service (QoS) and security features available as described below.
Module SC2 supports intelligent, full duplex, independent, multi-channels that can be individually software-configured for either RS-232C, RS-422, RS-485, RS-423 (w/data and/or clk bit inversion for MIL-STD-188C unbalanced interface support), or synchronous or asynchronous communications.
Serial Communication Module SC3 provides up to 8 high-speed, programmable RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, non-isolated communication channels. Each channel is programmable for either Serial Communications (SC) protocol or General Purpose I/O (GPIO) modes as either RS-422/485 (differential) or RS-232 (single ended) hardware level interfaces.
Module SC7 supports intelligent, full duplex, independent, multi-channels that can be individually software-configured for either RS-232C, RS-422, RS-485, RS-423 (w/data and/or clk bit inversion for MIL-STD-188C unbalanced interface support), or synchronous or asynchronous communications. SC7 is the same as SC1 except SC7 reallocates the pins used for CTS Flow Control as four (4) additional system grounds.
Module SG1 is NAI’s latest generation Strain Gage Measurement Module. This intelligent, four-channel module is used on our Multifunction Embedded I/O Boards and Single Board Computers (SBCs).
Module TE2 is one of NAI's latest generation of advanced function Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) compatible modules. The TE2 is a certifiable, single-port, tri-redundant, deterministic Ethernet communications interface module that supports TTTech’s certifiable TTEthernet® End System product consisting of three traffic classes: SAE AS6802 (Time-Triggered Ethernet), ARINC 664 Part 7 (Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX®), and/or IEEE 802.3 best-effort protocol. By supporting all three traffic classes, NAI's TE2 is the ideal solution for current users of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, who plan to upgrade to Deterministic Ethernet (ARINC 664 Part 7 (AFDX®) or Time-Triggered Ethernet SAE AS6802) protocols in the future at any time without changing hardware.
The VR1 provides eight isolated, wide voltage input range Variable Reluctance (VR) signal or general-purpose Pulse Counter measurement interfaces. Channels can be programmed to operate individually or combined in pairs.

The maximum programmable, expected full-scale range input for the AD1 module is ±1.25 to ±10 VDC and ±12.5 to ±100 VDC respectively. The A/D converters have programmable sample rates of up to 256 kHz.
Module AD2 features 12 channels with up to 24-bit Sigma-Delta A/D converters for each individual channel. The maximum programmable, expected full-scale range input for the AD2 module is ±100.0 to ±12.5 VDC respectively. The A/D converters have programmable sample rates of up to 256 kHz.
Module AD3 features 12 channels with up to 24-bit Sigma-Delta A/D converters for each individual channel. The maximum programmable, expected full-scale range input for the AD3 module is ±25 mA respectively. The A/D converters have programmable sample rates of up to 256 kHz.
Module AD4 features 16 channels with up to 16-bit SAR A/D converters for one per 8 channel multiplexed bank / 2 banks. The maximum programmable, expected full-scale range input for the AD4 module is ±10.00, ±5.00, ±2.50 or 1.25 volts where range is -FS to +FS, 0 to FS VDC, or ±25 mA. The A/D converters have programmable sample rates of up to 500 kHz / Aggregate per bank of 8 Channels.
