The Special Mapper Solutions (MMS-1X-RS-THRUST) is a sophisticated magnetic field mapper designed specifically for very large and heavy rotors, as well as cylindrical magnetic objects up to 700mm in diameter and weights reaching 100kg, which includes applications like Hall Effect Thrusters. The system offers an extended scanning volume of 600 x 600 x 600mm³, enabling comprehensive measurements across different dimensions. This allows it to handle larger components efficiently without compromising on measurement accuracy.
In addition to its robust design for heavy objects, the MMS-1X-RS-THRUST is equipped with a larger rotary stage capable of accommodating thrusters weighing up to 60 kg or more. This makes it an ideal choice for advanced applications in aerospace and similar fields, where precise magnetic field mapping is essential. The system also includes a holder for a Calibration Cube, allowing for on-site calibration of Hall probes to ensure accuracy. Other notable features include a modified touch sensor for easy operation and a low-noise Hall probe that enables measurements in a magnetic field range as low as 10mT, enhancing the versatility and reliability of this measuring device.
