PXI Synchronization Module
PXI Synchronization Modules use the trigger bus, star trigger, and system reference clock features of PXI to implement advanced multi-device synchronization. By using PXI Synchronization Modules, you can improve measurement accuracy, implement advanced triggering schemes, and synchronize multiple devices to act as one for high-channel-count applications.

781037-01
Timing and Synchronization Module
PXIe, OCXO PXI Synchronization Module—The PXIe‑6674T generates and routes clocks and triggers between devices in a PXI Express chassis as well as to other PXI and PXI Express chassis or third-party instrumentation. The PXIe‑6674T unlocks the advanced low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) trigger signals PXIe‑DStarA, PXIe‑DStarB, and PXIe‑DStarC, on PXI Express while fully supporting the PXI trigger lines. The PXIe‑6674T can generate two types of clock signals: a highly stable 10 MHz clock based on an onboard precision oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) reference and a second clock from the direct digital synthesis (DDS) clock generation circuit.

PXIe-6672, TCXO PXI Synchronization Module
780063-01
Synchronization Module
PXIe, TCXO PXI Synchronization Module—The PXIe‑6672 is a system timing controller module. It can drive the PXI star trigger lines, import and export PXI backplane clocks and triggers, generate a high-resolution direct digital synthesis (DDS) clock, and generate a high-stability temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) 10 MHz Reference Clock for instrumentation. The PXIe‑6672 allows you to synchronize multiple PXI Express systems, synchronize a PXI Express system with external instruments and equipment, and increase the accuracy of instruments within a PXI Express system.
