High rigidity results from the unitized cast-casing structure and SS series torque detector can be handled easily as being free from parts replacement on treatment of maintenance, comparing to other type of torque detector such as strain gauges, with non contact signal detection on the detector. 13 models in the series can be provided and chosen among them according to requirement in torque capacity.

High Speed Rotation Type Torque Detector

DD series - Ono Sokki

The DD series torque detector is the high-end equipment of the SS series to use in high speed measurement and large capacity measurement. It can be recommended to use in the heavy-duty application from DD-505 to DD-108. Double bearings provides three to five times the strength of our conventional torque detector under radial and thrust load, which enables direct coupling to automobile engines and saves the space as it makes a conventional intermediate bearing unnecessary. The oil drip lubricant (option) is necessary for the DD series.

Small/Medium Capacity Type High-Speed Rotation Torque Detector

TH-2000/1000 Series - Ono Sokki

The TH-1000 series torque detectors employ a new magnetic phase difference method with improving functionality while maintaining the advantages of Ono Sokki's conventional torque detectors. They incorporate high durability and long service life---the biggest features of our torque detectors. The new magnetic phase difference method does not require AC power supply to an auxiliary motor for rotation detection change. TH-1000 series is a standard type torque detector with the rotation speed range up to 6000 r/min. The TH-2000 series is a high-speed rotation type which can be used for torque characteristic test of high-speed rotating motor such as an EV/HEV motor, a centrifuge machine or the like. The characteristic data of the detector can be automatically set up on the TH-5100 torque meter when power is turned on.
