An earth ground terminal is included on the and a "mate first, break last" feature connects the earth ground circuit. The earth ground terminal on the strain relief prevents user shock and injury.

The 4 cutouts are spaced evenly across the panel. iCon cover plate is sold separately (310 113 467). This mounting plate is designed to work with a slide kit and includes flanges and an instrument bracket. A slide kit is required for use.

The iCon EMI has many of the standard features of the iCon, in addition to Electro-Magnetic Interference protection. The EMI shielding effect on the iConEMI ITA is provided by the stainless steel fibers in the removable plastic cover and threaded metal coupling adapter. The opening of the threaded coupling adapter provides clearance for a maximum cable bundle with an oblong bushing effective diameter of 1.37 in. Protective cover included.
