Filters & Attenuators
Attenuators are used to extend the measuring ranges of our high-frequency measuring devices HFA-3, HFR-4 and Frequency Master IV. They are suitable for measuring higher levels.
The measuring range of our high-frequency measuring devices HFA-3, HFR-4 and Frequency Master IV can be adjusted upwards using external attenuators. Available attenuators are 10 dB and 20 dB. The 10 dB attenuator extends the measurement range upwards by a factor of 10 (10x higher radiation level) and the 20 dB attenuator extends the measurement range upwards by a factor of 100 (100x higher radiation level). The attenuators are simply screwed between the antenna and the measuring device.
In addition to our high-frequency filter MFF-1, there are also special filters that cover frequency ranges that the MFF-1 does not. Please ask us about your special requirements.
