Cables
-
Adapter Cables connect your Spectrum card or instrument with your device under test, your sensor, your transmitter or receiver, your external machine, your prototype equipment or simply with a probe for measuring. To fulfill a lot of different requirements Spectrum is offering adapter cables between different types of connections and with different length. These adapter cables are manufactured for Spectrum following Spectrum's specification.

External Pre-amplifiers
-
Although all Spectrum A/D cards have a very powerful input section with a highly configurable input amplifier and a variety of input ranges it is sometimes necessary to have additional external amplifiers if the signal to acquire has an extremely low level. Spectrum offers a range of perfectly matching external amplifiers to cover such cases. These powerful amplifiers have been rated using the Spectrum cards and offer best performance together with high amplification rates. The amplifiers are simply connected between the signal source and the Spectrum A/D card input and can be manually switched between different settings using small lever keys. All amplifiers allow the offset compensation by using an adjustable screw.

D/A Amplifier Card
-
The amplifier option adds ±10 V output level to existing arbitrary waveform generators. The additional card is available with 1, 2 or 4 channels. The amplifier modules are able to enhance the output levels of the existing arbitrary waveform generators of the 60xx and 61xx series from ±3 V to ±10 V. The amplifiers are available as 1, 2 or 4 channel version. Due to the high bandwidth of 30 MHz the options match all versions of the fast arbitrary waveform generators.

Clock and Trigger Distribution Card
-
The clock and trigger distribution card is a simple and passive component that allows to synchronize several systems externally. No programming is necessary. A clock can be fed in from an external device or as an option an internal clock oscillator can be equipped by the factory. This clock is then also used to synchronize an external trigger signal into the clock domain. Both, clock and synchronized trigger, are then fed into a maximum of 17 different systems. Each system can be a single card or a synchronized set of cards that run with an internal star-hub.

PCIe Docking Stations
-
PCIe Docking Stations allow the extension of Desktop and Laptop PCs by PCIe slots in external chassis. Different solutions are available from different vendors world-wide. A Docking Station can be a single card chassis or a 19" rack with 16 full-size slots. Spectrum no longer sells Docking Stations due to the low demand and Spectrums own Ethernet-based digitizerNETBOX and generatorNETBOX solutions.
