  • Analog or Digital Communications Switching Systems with D type Connectors

    RS Series - Cytec Corp.

    The RS Series computer controlled switching systems are designed to switch multi-wire groups of signal up to 25 wires. These systems are typically used for signals such as parallel TTL, RS232, RS422, WAN or modems, but can also be used for any group of analog or digital signals having a bandpass up to 30 MHz or a data rate up to 20 Mbps. A modular design concept is used that provides configuration flexibility by allowing display modules, different control modules and switch modules to be combined into a single chassis.

    CX Series - Cytec Corp.

    These Chassis controls up to 16 switch modules in 16x8, 32x4 or dual 16x4 configurations. Available as single pole systems with the outer conductor of the BNC taken to ground, or isolated 2 pole systems switching both center conductor and ground. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add Switch Modules, Driver Modules and a Control Module to complete the system.

    This series is typically used for frequencies from DC to 1000 MHz. There are a large variety of 1x2, 1x4, 1x8 and some 1x16 modules available. Other specialty modules such as 2 wire balanced line, solid state 75 ohm and extremely low leakage ( less than 50 fempto amps ) modules are available.

    These Chassis controls up to 16 8x1 modules, 32 4x1 modules or any combination or configuration such as a 16x8 matrix, 32x4 matrix or two 16x4 matrices. Matrix configurations are non-blocking and physical layer switches act like a cable connection with D connectors creating a one to one connection between D9, D15 or D25 connectors. All wires are switched as a group on each connector for easy programming. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add Switch Modules, Driver Modules and a Control Module to complete the system.

    These Chassis controls up to 16 switch modules with 9 to 25 wires switched per module. They are basically used to make a 9 to 25 wire 1x16 mux with D9, D15 or D25 connectors. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add up to 16 Switch Modules and a Control Module to complete the system. Push button manual control on the front panel is optional.

    These Chassis control up to 16 modules with as many as 32 two pole relays per module allowing 1xN multiplexers up to 1020x1, 2 pole muxes up to 512x1 or 2xN matrix configurations up to 256x2. Jumpering option allow the modules to be controlled as separate smaller muxes, i.e. 64 4x1 2 pole muxes, or combine specific groups to allow an almost unlimited combination of sizes. Add a Control Module and optional manual control to complete the system.

    This Chassis allows matrix configurations of 16x8, 32x4, two 16x4's, or two 8x8's. Modular construction allows smaller configurations that may be expanded later by adding more modules. 2, 4, or 8 wire modules with CAT5E RJ45 connectors. Add Switch Modules, display / driver modules and a Control Module to complete the system. The Dual 8x8 configuration has been tested and passes Gbit Ethernet Signals.

    This Chassis is a 16x16 non-blocking, full fan-out matrix for 50 ohm signals from 1 GHz to 2.7 GHz. The system uses splitters and amplifiers on the input side and switch modules on the output side to form a stubless matrix. Unit comes standard with LAN, GPIB and RS232 control. A keypad manual control is optional.
