NAI’s 65DL2 is a 12-channel, 3-wire, LVDT/RVDT Simulation Instrument on a VXI board. This single-slot, message-based board features up to 12 stimulus channels of 3-wire LVDT/RVDT, wraparound self-test, and onboard programmable excitation supply. The board is uniquely versatile, as each excitation input and output voltage is programmable. In addition, each channel can be programmed to be controlled by an external DC voltage. A replacement for the 5410C-83, the 65DL2 is ideally suited for defense, commercial aerospace, and industrial applications.

The FW3 function module provides IEEE 1394b/AS5643 (Mil1394) support on each of its three nodes, which are configured as 2 nodes with 3-ports and 1 node with 2-ports. AS5643 defined flight ready robustness and active transformer isolation to enable longer cable lengths (20 meter) between nodes. Together these standards provide the deterministic and redundant communications protocol required for Vehicle System (Flight Control) Networks. The FW3 multiple ports per node configuration allows the user to create tree, daisy-chain and looped topologies needed to optimize cable length and weight while creating redundancy.

This off-the-shelf solution for VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 systems is compatible with VPX specifications; supports all VITA standard I/O, signals, and features; and conforms to the VITA 62 mechanical and electrical requirements for modular power supplies.

The NIU3E is a small, rugged, low-power, self-contained multifunction I/O processing system preconfigured with 24-CH programmable Discrete I/O, 8-CH ARINC 429/575, 4-CH CANBus and 2-CH MIL-STD-1553 functions and incorporates an Ethernet switch module that offers four (4) 10GBase-SR multimode fiber optic ports and sixteen (16) 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports. The NIU3E can also be configured with one smart Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) function module. The NIU3E boasts a Dual or Quad Core ARM A53 processor for customer application and I/O and communications management. The NIU3E is configured with two 10/100/1000Base-T (GbE) Ethernet ports and an RS-232 port for maintenance / diagnostic or configuration interface. NAI’s 78CS2 is a 6U cPCI Multifunction I/O and Communication Board designed for applications requiring Digital-to-Synchro/Resolver (D/S) stimulus output, as well as I/O and communication functions. This board contains five independent function module slots. The board can be configured for 10 D/S channels, or for D/S in combination with I/O and communication modules. Additional enhancements include FIFO data buffering for select modules. Using multiple DSPs, the enhanced motherboard enables higher processing power and dedicated pre-processing control for each module.
