Each SERNET product can work as a stand-alone system monitoring up to 48 digital inputs or multiple SERNET units can be networked together to form a larger system with all events consolidated in one chronological list as they occur. A single WEB browser screen can display alarms from several SERNET units, making it easy to see the interaction between different equipment types or processes. This flexibility makes it easy to analyze alarms across an entire site or even across multiple sites for a larger system view - much better than piecing together a list of alarms from multiple devices.

Universal Checkback Standalone System

The Universal Checkback Standalone System (UCBS) provides periodic testing of "ON-OFF" carrier sets other than the TC-10B and the UPLC/UPLC-II (which incorporate this same checkback tester internally). The UCBS determines the functionality of the complete channel including the transmitters, receivers and associated coupling equipment. Periodic testing is required for the normally "off" channel, to provide warning of signal deterioration prior to needing it for relaying, The UCBS facilitates automatic testing of the channel at preset intervals. The UCBS is totally field programmable. All programming is done with a computer using the RS232 serial port or limited factory settings with switches on the Checkback module. Front panel LEDs indicate the factory or custom setting applied and the status of alarms.

The latest and most capable LM6000 gas turbine exhaust gas temperature (EGT) probe from AMETEK offers the longest possible life. AMETEK is the original EGT probe supplier for CF6 aircraft engines. LM2500, LM5000, and LM6000 industrial gas turbines and now brings to market an EGT probe with new materials and a new design. The latest LM6000 T4.8 EGT thermocouple is OEM qualified and incorporates, many improvements over any previous products. Materials are carefully selected to ensure long product life and superior performance. Specifically, a new single crystal alloy for the probe support significantly improves high temperature mechanical strength. In addition, the thermocouple sheath material increases high temperature oxidation and creep resistance. Best of all, AMETEK's new T4.8 thermocouple is completely interchangeable so that it can be used on all LM6000 applications.
