Thermo-Hygrometers
The thermo-hygrometer measures both humidity of the air and temperature of the air. The thermo-hygrometer measures different ranges of humidity and temperature depending on the model. The thermo-hygrometer is versatile in that it can take measurements, store them to memory and transfer data to a computer for further detailed analysis. The thermo-hygrometer usually offers contactless working which enables non-destructive measurements. The thermo-hygrometer is very useful in evaluating damage in a warehouse. Many warehouses need to be at an exact temperature, with a specific level of humidity. e.g. for flowers or food. A difference in temperature and / or humidity would mean that the stored products get damaged or even destroyed.In households, the temperature and humidity or moisture content is also important. The optimal environmental conditions for humans are around 20°C / 68°F and 50-65% air humidity. The thermo-hygrometer is also ideal for monitoring the environment within clean rooms, labs, storage rooms and computer rooms.

Cable Locator
A cable locator can locate open power cables, either live or without current, with voltages up to 300 V. A cable locator can locate cables, circuits, short circuits and ground wires. To perform these functions, it is not always necessary to disconnect electrically sensitive devices or to disconnect the power to the cable being tested. Many cable locator devices also can locate ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood and plastic with high degrees of accuracy.

Thermometers
At PCE you will find both a contact and non-contact thermometer for measuring and recording temperature. There is a thermometer to measure different temperature ranges between -200 and 1767ºC / -328 ... 3212ºF. Measurement of temperature is done in many different sectors. We also offer a thermometer that can indicate temperature in ºC, K (Kelvin) and ºF, as well as another that is water resistant.A wide range of thermal elements and type-K sensors are available for the thermometer. ISO calibration certificates, which include a laboratory calibration, can be ordered for most models in our thermometer range. Thermometers are instruments we use to measure the temperature of people or things.The most used and known thermometers are mercury thermometers used to measure peoples temperature and consisting of a graduated glass capillary and a pool of mercury in one end, but there are many types of thermometers such as digital thermometers that we have introduced which take temperature measurements on contact with an object these are suitable for any sector of industry. An accelerometer is used in manufacturing machine maintenance to inspect equipment vibration. An accelerometer also is used in product testing to measure the vibration of various components.A triaxial accelerometer, also called a 3-axis accelerometer, provides measurements of the following parameters: vibration acceleration, vibration velocity and vibration displacement. Insulation Meters
Here you will find an insulation tester for a variety of ranges between 50 mega ohms and 2000 mega ohms. The portable manual insulation tester is used for determining insulation resistance, continuous current, alternating current and testing. With an insulation tester, measurements can be taken for different voltages, beginning with 100V up to 10,000V. Measurements meet the DIN VDE 0413 part 1 standard. The insulation tester comes with a test mechanism, clips, batteries and a carrying case. The insulation meter can be equipped for test laboratories if an optional DIN EN ISO is acquired.Measurement of insulation in cables and motor coils is vitally important for the prevention of accidents and damage to installations and is obligatory according to most codes of conduct.

Penetrometers
Penetrometers measure the firmness or hardness of fruit. Penetrometers are ideal for determining the best time to harvest fruit or to test its progress to maturity. The firmness of fruit is one of the most widely used parameters in testing its maturity, together with measuring the fruits sugar content using refractometers. Electronic penetrometers come with different diameter penetration points. This allows for fruit of different size and hardness to be tested. It is important that this first part of the measurement process is done correctly if the readings obtained are to be valid in making adequate decisions as to when the fruit should be harvested. It is important the the samples that are measured are representative of the entire crop, considering a sufficient minimum quantity sample, size and quality.
