VFR-1 -
Physitemp Instruments
The optional footrest is designed to be used with the Vibratron-II. The foot rest is 12'' long x 8'' wide x 4.25'' high with adjustable non-slip leveling feet ( feet are adjustable to add up to 1/2'' of additional height if needed). Surface of the footrest is a white hygienic non-skid vinyl covering and can be easily cleaned between uses. The unit is large enough to accommodate both feet and may also be used as an armrest when testing upper extremities. The weight of the unit is approximately 4.5 pounds. The footrest can also be purchased as an option to the NTE-2A .

TCAT-2LV -
Physitemp Instruments
Our TCAT-2 family of general purpose PID Autotuning Controllers provides accurate temperature control in a variety of laboratory applications. Combined with a heat lamp or heating pad, the TCAT-2 may be used to maintain the body temperature of anesthetized animals during surgery or stereotaxic procedures. Small animal cages are easily warmed with a heat lamp. The TCAT-2 may also be used in cooling applications, such as to control independent perfusate cooling systems. Realizing that laboratory applications are diverse, Physitemp can provide several versions of the TCAT Controller. The model specified depends on whether a laboratory has a general or specific need for the controller

DASYLAB Lite -
Physitemp Instruments
Dasylab lite software for operation of our line of THERMES Data Acquisition Systems. For customers who already have Labview or Dasylab no additional software is necessary. Recommended operating software is Dasylab Lite version 10. The lite version provides all the necessary functions to display and store temperature data in digital and graphical formats in real time. Users may customize the display to suit their particular application. The Dasylab Basic version provides additional features for data manipulation and statistical analysis.

THERMES-USB -
Physitemp Instruments
Physitemp’s Thermes high accuracy data acquisition system has been redesigned to create a more versatile USB model. The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. Each unit will accommodate up to 7 type T thermocouple sensors and multiple Thermes units may be connected to the same computer for more thermocouple inputs. A high accuracy electronic cold junction compensation circuit maintains typical system accuracy of ±0.2°C over an ambient temperature range of 15 to 35°C. Individual offsets may be added to each input in software to facilitate individual calibration of each channel. (see THERMES-USB WFI)

Vibratron II -
Physitemp Instruments
The Vibratron II provides a non-invasive means of measuring the sensitivity to vibration of large nerve fibers of a patient's fingers and toes. Reliable quantitative measurements are achieved with a test that takes only minutes to administer. A two-alternative forced choice procedure is used to determine the degree of sensitivity for comparison to normals.

NTE-2A -
Physitemp Instruments
The NTE-2A Thermal Probe is a sophisticated, non-invasive device for the clinical evaluation of neuropathy and the assessment of short fiber neurological function. Individual thresholds are compared to normals to statistical normals. These results provide an accurate means of tracking chronic changes in small fiber nerve function. It can be used for pain studies and in any application were a variable, accurately-controlled temperature stimulus is required. The NTE-2A is often used in conjunction with the Vibratron II to assess peripheral neuropathies.
