Image Reject Mixers To 16 GHz
-
Image Reject Mixers incorporate a 2-way 0° divider, two 90° hybrids and two mixers. They produce an IF signal when driven by an LO and RF signal while rejecting unwanted sidebands that are very close in frequency.

90 Degree Hybrid Couplers To 600 MHz
-
This category of hybrid dividers features designs from 5 to 600 MHz with 2:1 to 4:1 bandwidth. Maximum insertion loss of 0.5 dB is specified for most units. These 90-degree hybrids are designed for a power rating of 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.2:1 or better. For use in 50-ohm environments.Pulsar Microwave currently offers this product line in three space-saving packages. The connectorized outline 412 comes standard with SMA female connectors. Outline C is a surface mount package useful for handheld applications with limited PCB area. Outline 301 is hermetically sealed for rugged environments.

High Power Single And Dual Directional Couplers
-
Pulsar Microwave manufactures a line of single and dual directional couplers specifically designed for high power operation. There are various narrow and broadband designs from 0.1 MHz to 10 GHz. These directional couplers come in standard values of 30, 35, 40 and 50 dB with coupling tolerance of +/- 1 dB.The high power directional couplers have low insertion loss. Coupling flatness is maintained at +/- 1 dB or less among models. Most units hold a mainline VSWR of 1.2:1 or better throughout the operating frequency range. Pulsar Microwave has designs up to 2.5 kW input power. Typical directivity is 20 dB or more.Standard outlines are available with SMA or N type female connectors. For higher power ratings, typically the mainline will use N connectors with SMA on the coupled ports.

Double Balanced Mixers From 0.01 To 6000 MHz
-
A double balanced mixer (DBM) employs the use of a well matched quad-diode ring with two balanced transformers. Because of this, a DBM enjoys the inherent advantage of high port to port isolation. The IF port in Pulsar's DBM design is DC coupled to the diodes.

SP16T RF Pin Diode Switches To 10 GHz
-
Pulsar Microwave's 16-way switches cover 500 MHz to 10 GHz in single pole, 16-throw configuration. Maximum input power is 200 mW and switching time is 100 ns. SMA female connectors are standard. A 15-pin D-SUB male connector makes the internal connections to the power, ground and logic circuitry. Switching control is TTL with the option of line drivers and decoders.

4-Way Resistive Power Dividers DC To 27 GHz
-
Pulsar Microwave manufactures resistive dividers from DC to 27 GHz. They have a rated input power of one half watt maximum. VSWR of 1.5:1 or better maintained throughout band at all ports. Resistive dividers can be fitted with SMA male or female connectors and are available in three outline packages.

Quad IF Mixers / IQ Demodulators To 16 GHz
-
Quadrature IF Mixers incorporate a 90° hybrid, 2-way 0° divider and two mixers to produce two output signals in phase quadrature (I &Q) when driven by a LO and RF signal.
-
Product
Single Sideband IQ Modulators To 16 GHz
-
Single Sideband Modulators incorporate a 90° hybrid, 2-way 0° divider and two mixers to produce either an upper (RF + IF) or lower (RF - IF) sideband when driven by a carrier signal and modulation input signal. Depending on the phase relationship of the signals injected into the MOD.I and MOD.Q ports, the modulator will pass either the upper or lower sideband through to the output while rejecting the other.

DC Blocks From 0.1 MHz To 18 GHz
-
Pulsar Microwave Corporation's DC blocks are designed to inner-only topology and utilize our standard housings for fast turn manufacturing. Designs are tested to 50 Ohms, and models range up to 18 Ghz with a maximum voltage rating of 500 Vdc.

Digital Step Attenuators To 18 GHz
-
This family of digitally controlled switched bit attenuators have standard attenuation ranges of 32 dB and 64 dB, with 8 bits of resolution. LSB of 32 dB models is 0.125 dB, and for 64 dB models LSB is 0.250 dB. Attenuation level is obtained by 8 TTL control inputs.

90 Degree Hybrid Couplers To 500 MHz
-
Hybrid couplers with bandwidths as broad as 125:1 are available for applications within 100 kHz to 500 MHz. Power handling is 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.2:1 or better. These hybrids have an isolation of 20 dB and phase balance of 3 degrees. Most models have a VSWR of 1.4:1 or better throughout their operating bandwidths.Pulsar Microwave currently offers these hybrid couplers packaged in three outlines, including an SMT version. Standard offering of connectorized packages 412 and 442 are with SMA female connectors. Outline 412 may be customized with any combination of BNC, TNC, F or N connectors. Outline E is the surface mount version and requires less than one square inch of board area, making it well-suited for portable applications.
