Needle Flame Test Apparatus

Needle Flame Test Apparatus is designed to carry out fire hazard testing. Flammability test is to check the ‘Resistance to Fire’ of electrical insulators that touch directly conducting parts & also parts of insulators. Testing with regard to fire hazards can be done by creating exactly the conditions occurring in practice. However, this is not possible in most instances. Hence for this test, the actual conditions are simulated as closely as possible by the Needle Flame Test Apparatus.

The SCR Elektroniks 3 station MCB Temperature Rise and Power Loss Test Bench is economically designed to verify temperature rise and measure power loss as per clause 9.8 of IEC 60898 with the circuit designed to follow test procedure as per Cl 9.8.2. The temperature rise is measured in accordance with Cl 9.8.3 and 9.8.4 while power loss is measured and verified as per Table 15 of Cl 9.8.5.
