High Voltage Tester For Hair Dryer & Hair Straightner
Every electrical apparatus or machine consists of two distinct sections - one which carries the electricity, and other which is isolated (insulated) from the electric currents. The former may be called the `Live' side whiles the latter `Earth’ side. A person near about the apparatus or handling it can safely touch the Earth side, but not the live side, for obvious reasons. To ensure that the isolation of the two sections is effected properly, the apparatus is tested by subjecting it to a Voltage much higher than the normal working Voltage. If the insulation is good, it stands the test without breakdown otherwise high electrical stress punctures the insulation at its weakest spot foretelling a later calamity to unwary user. Government Department- when buying electrical equipments- and all reputable manufacturers test every piece of equipment by this test called HIGH VOLTAGE TEST. It weeds out poorly insulate apparatus.

PC Based Comprehensive Test Setup for Luminaires
Our zest for innovation has resulted in continuous upgrades in the existing line of products. Till now we used to manufacture 3 different equipments for Driver, MCPCB and Luminaires Component testing. We at SCR Elektroniks have developed our comprehensive tester to incorporate all the 3 systems in a single bench. Here in this tester one can test all the three DUT in a single bench. Since all the 3 testing procedures have many tests in common, we have incorporated all the tests in a single bench such that testing of Luminaire driver, Luminaire PCB and Final Luminaire set is performed in single test bench. Only these tests are performed over the DUT else other are disabled for them.

Earth Contact Resistance Tester
SCR ELEKTRONIKS have developed an equipment namely Earth Contact Resistance Tester to test the appliance. To ensure the safety of operator it is essential that the Earth path (connection) should offer minimum impedance to by pass short circuit Current to Earth. This is ensured by measuring Resistance of the Earth path by passing heavy Current say 25 A. The Earth Contact Resistance Tester essentially comprises of a Variable Current source with digital Ammeter to measure the Current supplied. The Voltage drop across the Earth path is measured with a digital Voltmeter. Optionally for a particular Current (25 A) the meter can be calibrated in terms of Resistance. A timer is provided to switch off the Current after the Set Time.

MCB Tripping Current Characteristic Test Bench
The SCR Elektroniks 12 station MCB Tripping Characteristics Test Bench is optimally designed to verify the Tripping Characteristic of MCBs as per clause 9.10.1 of IEC 60898 (Also mentioned in Indian Standards IS 8828). The bench essentially comprises of Servo Controlled mechanism to set and maintain desired current (against incoming mains fluctuation) and a Micro controller based master controller unit plus timer, which governs the entire sequence of operation making it a stand-alone system once the user connects the MCB and configures the test parameters.
