The tests are Performed as Prescribed in IS the Panel Carries out different tests one by one and provides indication of the Test results as OK or NOT-OK. It is very useful and handy in line testing on Mass production line as well as type Testing. Special fixture can be provided for the specific product. This avoids the connections & disconnections of the product for different tests. The total time for entire testing is less than 20 seconds. Micro controller based sequential timer maintains the sequence of operation and displays the test status. MCB Thermal Verification Test Bench

The test system is a special version of the thermal test test system in the sense that the test jig is primarily designed to hold and connect multi pole MCBs for thermal verification so that each pole can be verified to trip within the IEC time band after the MCB has been riveted. This equipment comprises of high current source for testing of circuit breakers with additional facility for temperature rise testing (thus incorporating testing for moulded case, vacuum & air circuit breakers as per IEC 60947-2). The system integrates a servo controlled source with closed loop current feedback to maintain the current constant. It has the necessary instrumentation for maintaining current at full load & other conditions arising in testing at high current. The bench has a PC based control system with temperature data logger (24 channel with ch-ch isolation amplifiers). The data logger displays as well as stores a set of temperature values with time.

Every electrical apparatus or machine consists of two distinct sections - one which carries the electricity, and other which is isolated (insulated) from the electric currents. The former may be called the `Live' side whiles the latter `Earth’ side. A person near about the apparatus or handling it can safely touch the Earth side, but not the live side, for obvious reasons. To ensure that the isolation of the two sections is effected properly, the apparatus is tested by subjecting it to a Voltage much higher than the normal working Voltage. The High voltage tester for routine testing of MCBs combines a conventional high voltage tester with a specially designed robust fixture to hold 20 single pole MCBs at a time. The solution comes as a single trolley with easy-to-set test parameters with safety interlocks designed for user safety with respect to electric shock and mechanical fixturing.
