Motionnet Motion Control Modules

Motionnet comprises of a high-speed serial communication system that involves Master card and Slave modules. ICP DAS USA has two categories of Slave devices: Digital I/O, and Motion Control. Users' actuators/sensors can be easily connected with our Motionnet devices. Motion control modules work together with either a Servo or Stepping motor. Motionnet communication between a Master and the Slaves devices is based on RS-485 technology (Multi-drop, Half-duplex). This technology provides the advantage of simplifying connectivity of devices between remote distances while still offering high speed. Data transfer for the I/O modules is cyclical and time deterministic, so this mean that Motionnet devices can be used for other numerous industrial automation applications.

ISA Isolated Digital I/O Boards

The ISO-P64 has 64-channel isolated digital input board, arranged into four isolated banks. Each input channel use a photo-coupler input which allows either internal power supply or external power selected by jumper. Isolated input channels 0~15 are designed into group A, channels 16~31 are designed into group B, Isolated input channels 32~47 are designed into group A, channels 48~63 are designed into group B. The power supply of the input port may use the external power or the power from the PC side using DC to DC converter. The board interface to field logic signals, eliminating ground-loop problems and isolating the host computer from damaging voltages. The ISO-P64 has one 37-pin D-sub connector and one 40-pin header. The 40-pin to D-sub 37 flat cable is used to fix with the case. The user can connect the digital signal through the second D-sub connector. Each D-sub connector contains 16 inputs channel and 16 output channel.

The DB-16R is a 16 channel Relay Output Board. It consists of 16 form c relays for efficient switching of load by programmed control. It is connector and functionally compatible with our 785 series boards with industrial type terminal blocks. The DB-16R can be used by our A-82x board or any other compatible board. The relays are energized by applying a 5 volt signal to the appropriate relay channel on the 20-pin flat cable connector. Sixteen enunciator LEDs, one for each relay, light up when their associated relay is activated . This board provides a screw terminial for power to avoid overloading your PC's power supply.

Relay Modules

The DN-SSR4 includes 4 normally open, Form A, solid-state relays. The user can use the DN-SSR4 to switch high voltage load up to 240VAC and up to 4A. Four enunicator LEDs (one for each relay) light when their associated relay is activated. Each output is equipped with a varistor that shunts the surge voltage of the inductive load or electromagnetic brake to protect the relay contact point. All relay control and relay outputs are accessible through the wiring terminals.
