    Arc lamp light sources have high ultraviolet and visible output with some prominent lines in the near infrared, which make them useful for many Spectroscopy applications. The small, bright arcs have significant advantages for collimation and intense irradiation. We offer various families of DC and Pulsed Arc Lamp Sources.

  • CERAMIC CAPACITORS

    Designed for HF and high voltage operation (5 to 30kV), and with a capacitance range of 50 to 1500pF, AMS Technologies' ceramic capacitors cater to all applications from antenna matching units to high voltage testing systems. Our product portfolio includes many different package forms, including the classical disc capacitor as well as the standard hockey puck package style, with the extra sub assemblies of daisy chain and ferris wheels. For high power applications there are also water-cooled ceramic capacitors rated to 4000kVA.

  • COLLIMATORS & FOCUSERS OPTICS

    For collimation or focusing tasks, a complete line of fiber optic components is available for coupling light into and out of optical fibers. Featuring low backreflection and diffraction-limited lenses, these components exhibit high throughput and high optical performance, for example with focal spot sizes down to a few microns. These devices can be used to couple light to/from lasers, laser diodes, acousto optic devices, photodiodes and other fiber optic devices, and are additionally ideal for fiber packaging applications. For very high power applications, a patented fiber fusion technology is available for some of these components.

  • LOW TC RESISTORS

    AMS Technologies makes use of Caddock's proven Tetrinox resistance systems in order to meet the precision temperature stability requirements of high accuracy, high voltage systems such as TWT power supplies, electron microscopes, X-ray systems, high-resolution CRT displays and geophysical instruments. The patented technology enables to achieve the unique combination of a low-temperature coefficient over a broad temperature range (TC: 25ppm/C from -55 to +125C) together with excellent resistor stability at high operating voltages. Resistors are available from 1 to 1000M.

  • ISOLATORS

    For most standard wavelengths between 488 and 1650nm, AMS provides a range of free-space and fibre-pigtailed optical isolators. All isolators feature a patented construction, provide up to 60dB of isolation and are available either as polarisation-dependent or polarisation-independent models. Power handling in standard isolators can be as high as 10W through a singlemode fibre, all with minimum insertion losses. Typical applications include laser protection, for use with fiber coupling systems, for optical amplifiers and with CATV systems.

  • INGAAS PHOTODIODES

    OSI Optoelectronics latest product line includes a very low reflectance photodiode. Designed for telecommunication applications, the InGaAs/InP photodiode has a typical optical reflectance of less than .6% from 1520nm to 1620nm. This ultra low reflectance over the wide wavelength range was achieved by depositing a proprietary multi-layered anti-reflection coating directly onto the surface of the InGaAs/InP photodiode.
