BXL is an extra load unit designed to be used with DV Power’s BLU series battery testers. However, this unit is a universal add-on device. Because of that, it is compatible, as an additional load, with any other discharge/capacity tester in the market.In case when discharge current exceeds the capacity of a single BLU device, BXL can increase the discharge capacity. There are no limitations on the number of extra load units that can be connected in parallel to the main battery tester.A system of BLU and BXL instruments enables performing the capacity test in an accurate, user-friendly way. Also, all instruments are in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.These units can be used on any type of battery string, such as lead-acid, Li-Ion, Ni-Cd, etc. They test battery strings with voltages in the range of 5,25 – 500 V DC. The SSI is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant portable handheld Load Cell Indicator. The main body of this unique extensometer remains stationary during testing, held in position by the adjustable magnetic base included. Only the very light, small traveling heads move as the sample elongates during a test. These attach to the sample with small spring clips. Each head pulls a cord out from the extensometer as the head moves. These models use high precision, low friction potentiometers, and, as a result, have a wide range of factory selectable outputs. The extensometer is driven by an excitation voltage and has output proportional to the input. They can be provided with high level outputs (approximately 2-8 VDC) or ones that mimic strain gaged devices (2-4 mV/V). When set to mimic strain gaged extensometers, the Model 3800 can be used with virtually any signal conditioning electronics designed for strain gaged sensors. The potentiometers employ a hybrid wire wound around conductive plastic, which provides excellent long term stability. The output from the extensometer is readily interfaced with most existing test controllers, and may be directly input to data acquisition systems and chart recorders.
