    QuickSun 550Ei is a versatile testing system for qualifying of PV modules with dimensions up to 105 x 205 cm2. Basic set up includes a top class solar simulator which measures modules in sunny side up position enabling e.g. soiling simulations. Several additional measurement methods can be integrated to the same system including high resolution EL imaging with analysis software from one of the most recognized EL system suppliers.     In recent years, we have been developing a sophisticated IV curve tracer for PV modules including a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function. The IV curve tracer is designed for operation with any market-available steady-state solar simulator. Through our web-based software design, the operator can supervise the test results from every computer in a company network. The software contains functions such as an irradiation sum counter that helps to check requirements stated in a stabilization test like they are defined in IEC 61215 (MQT 19). We have also included a correction function to correct the traced IV curves to standard test conditions (STC) when the user enters the required temperature coefficients. One of the most important features is the multi-IV curve tracing function, which enables the user to display more than 150 IV curves in one graph. This eases the analysis of the weakest cells in hot-spot tests, which are required in IEC 61730 (MST 22) and IEC 61215 (MQT 09).

    A gauss meter displays electromagnetic wave measurements in Gauss (G), milliGauss (mG), milliTesla (mT) or microTesla (µT) units. A gauss meter can detect either static (DC) permanent (rare-earth) magnetic or dynamic (AC) electromagnetic fields (EMFs), or both. Thus, it is important to review the specifications of a gauss meter prior to purchase to ensure suitability for the intended application.Neodymium (NdFeB) permanent magnets are among the world's strongest and most widely used magnets. When testing magnets made of neodymium or other rare-earth elements, a gaussmeter or magnetometer capable of measuring DC magnetic fields is required. However, most electromagnetic fields encountered are generated by AC currents. Examples include electrical power lines, transformers and wiring for overhead lighting, solar panels and other electrical devices and equipment. Electromagnetic fields from electrical installations are believed to cause feelings of nervousness, anxiety and paranoia in EMF-sensitive human beings.Most gaussmeters offered by PCE Instruments can be calibrated and certified according to DIN ISO 9000 standards for an additional fee. Replacement gaussmeter probes and optional accessories are available for most gaussmeter models.
