Micro-Epsilon Group
Rotation speed sensors are used to monitor, regulate and control mechanical drive systems and play a major role when it comes to protecting elements of a rotational system (e.g., in the engine, drive) from mechanical overload. Micro-Epsilon offers two sensor systems for rotation speed measurement. The capaNCDT CST6110 is a universal rotation speed sensor for counting tasks and rotation speed applications of any type. Moreover, the turboSPEED DZ140 measuring system is specifically designed for the detection of turbocharger rotation speeds.

The CMS 700i 3D contour measurement system detects the length, width, height, deformations and position of any objects as they pass by, independent of their shape and surface. Even polybags are reliably detected. The complete system includes all components for operation and installation under one part number. In contrast, light section sensors record a height profile along a projected laser line. This allows objects to be detected with high resolution in multiple dimensions. The integrated functions range from presence control to edge measurement and 3D object measurement.

HYPERSPEC® sensors are line-scanning instruments (sometimes called pushbroom) that collect reflected light through an image slit. One row of spatial pixels is collected per frame as motion occurs, with each pixel containing full spectral data. Motion can be accomplished in two ways: either as an airborne deployment (UAV, aircraft, or satellite) or stationary (where motion is accomplished beneath the sensor, such as a food inspection line). A third option is also available where pan-and-tilt or rotary stages allow a fixed-location sensor to scan a stationary object (such as a piece of artwork, or a mine face for geological applications).

Our Thermopile Detectors are typically Thermopiles with integrated Thermistor providing analog output in various packages. Special designs include built-in lenses or reflectors to enhance sensing performance, Isothermal constructions, or Dual narrow-band windows. Our latest Thermopile Sensors include specially designed electronic circuitry to provide calibration, digital output, and functionality. With the DigiPile, Excelitas offers a unique design for measurement applications. With its digital output, this device does not require any low noise amplification. The CaliPile family provides integrated features that enable measurement, as well as presence detection applications.

Switching light section sensors are designed to perform scanning, two-dimensional object detection along a laser line. They are especially well suited for completeness monitoring or product monitoring in the case of multiple track transport. The short measurement time and the detection range from 200 to 800 mm enable an inspection of the content at a high throughput rate even with deep containers. The internal data processing offers programming and differentiation of 16 different object types, thereby conserving control capacity. Complex detection tasks can be solved with one sensor. The compact housing ensures high flexibility during installation and saves installation space.

Teledyne Marine Cormon
The PT sensor has been designed to the highest industry standards to provide customers with dependable and accurate measurement of temperature (+/- 0.50C) and pressure (0.025% FSD) within a high integrity mechanical package. The sensor is available in both 10k and 15k psi configurations and incorporates true dual redundant sensors and electronics. Combined with the addition of a tertiary barrier between the process fluid and sea water, operators and users can be assured of high integrity data with a design life of >25 years. The unit offers operators flexible communications interfaces as standard covering CANbus (CiA443, SIIS Level 2), MODbus (RS485) or 4-20mA outputs.

STMicroelectronics
ST’s sensors now address an increasing number of imaging applications in the automotive, security, gaming, medical and high-end traditional camera market. As a leading supplier in the wireless industry, ST is constantly innovating in all aspects of our product offer. Camera modules featuring extended depth of field (EDoF), where the consumer benefits from an enhanced imaging experience over a traditional fixed focus (FF) approach, was first industrialized by ST. Leveraging extensive system on chip (SOC) knowhow, a wide range of features can be integrated on the same silicon die as the pixel array including autofocus (AF) drivers and lens shading correction (LSC) algorithms, as well as innovative solutions, such as high dynamic range (HDR) technology, at an affordable cost.

mks Ophir
Pulse Characterization Sensors provide the ability to see and measure the temporal characteristics of pulsed and CW laser beams. Ophir Fast Photodiode Detectors are designed to convert optical signals into electrical signals which are then measured with third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Accessories are available to connect to IS6 integrating spheres or fiber optic cables. Attenuating filter accessories are also available to increase their dynamic range. Different models offer silicon, UV enhanced silicon and InGaAs PIN photodiodes, covering a combined spectral range of 193 nm to 1700 nm. Rise times range from 25 picoseconds to 3 nanoseconds. The fast rise times are achieved by an internal reverse bias voltage circuit. Power is supplied by internal batteries and/or an external power supply depending on the model. Detectors should be connected to a 50Ω impedance in order to maintain their nominal rise times. They can be connected to higher impedance loads, but this will result in a significant increase in the rise time. If higher output voltage is required, it is recommended to connect the detector to a trans-impedance amplifier with an Input impedance of 50Ω
