Relay / Magnetic Field Testers

Ideally suited for checking magnetic fields and the correct function of coils, e.g. Relays and solenoid valves. The magnetic field detector works without contact, so that opening the housing is not necessary in most cases. When a magnetic field is detected, the probe tip lights up permanently blue, with clocked relays in the same cycle as they are controlled. The function of the magnetic field detector can be checked before each measurement with the enclosed test permanent magnet.

The 40-877A-002 (PXI) and 42-877A-002 (PXIe) are 50Ω 2x2 RF matrices with 2 banks in a single slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-877A modules. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost.
