  • Electrostatic Discharge Test

    Aero Nav Laboratories, Inc.

The electrostatic discharge test is designed to determine the ability of equipment to perform its intended function without permanent degradation of performance as a result of an air discharged electrostatic pulse. Electrostatic discharge is the result of an unbalanced electrical charge. Typically, it is created by insulator surfaces rubbing together or pulling apart. A transfer of electrostatic charge between bodies (materials, components, etc.) at different electrostatic potentials is caused by direct contact.

  • Transforming Analog Circuit Breaker Testers

    MAC-21 - ETI Precision

The MAC-21 uses proven microprocessor and A/D converter technology to provide real-time waveform analysis. This ensures accurate true-RMS readings of current pulses, even with DC offset and distortion, which are typical in primary injection testing. Intelligent threshold algorithms provide accurate trip time measurement. Integration of measurement and control functions allow advanced features such as preset on times, auto ranging, and optional printer or computer interface.

  • Mini Multi-Battery Tester

    Mini-MBT9R - ZTS Inc

The ZTS Mini Multi-Battery Tester™ (Mini-MBT9R with 9v NiMH capability) provides a comprehensive means of testing the state of charge or state of power for more than 10 battery types. The Mini-MBT9R's microprocessor-based design makes battery testing simple - using a patented, high accuracy pulse load test. After a fully automatic test cycle, percentage of remaining battery capacity is indicated on the LED bar display.

  • PWM Power Pro Tester

    78065 - Hickok Inc.

Current diagnostic routines dicatate time consuming circuit testing and NEVER test the component.More and more of today's vehicles are using Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) motors, actuators and solenoids. You can't simply test them by directly applying 12 volts. This can cause expensive misdiagnosis. PWM Power Pro is the only tester that can adjust the output percentage from 0% 100% to effectively pinpoint the cause of the failure.

  • Turbine Flow Meters

    AW Gear Meters

Axial turbine flow meters are designed with wear resistant internal components to provide trouble-free operation and a long service life. Fluid entering the flow meter is first conditioned by the inlet flow straightener which reduces turbulence in the fluid. The moving fluid causes the rotor to spin at a speed that is proportional to its flow rate. As the turbine blades on the rotor pass through the magnetic field of the pickup, an electronic pulse is generated.

  • C Series Counter Input Module

    NI

The C Series Counter Input Module features flexible, 32-bit counters. You can configure each channel to read a single pulse train or combine them to read up to four incremental encoders. You can also directly connect sensors with open-collector or push-pull outputs by using an internal, switchable pull-up resistor. Additionally, you can use the C Series Counter Input Module to perform encoder position and velocity measurements as well as to synchronize the counters with other analog, digital, and counter measurements in your chassis. The C Series Counter Input Module includes the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility that simplify configuration and measurements. NI-DAQmx supports NI programming environments as well as Python, ANSI C, C#.NET, and MathWorks MATLAB® software.

  • Magnetizer

    345B - Oersted Technology

The Model 300-series magnetizers are designed to handle a variety of magnetizing applications and materials, from small Alnico parts to large blocks of neodymium-iron. Each of these magnetizers feature patented ECS (Electronic Capacitance Switching) technology, which allows the user to change the capacitance of the unit through the front panel. By setting the charging voltage and capacitance of the magnetizer properly, the user can then scale the output energy of the unit to match the magnetizing fixture being used. The 300-series magnetizers also includes a peak current meter, which automatically captures the peak current of the magnetizing pulse once it occurs. A safety circuit internally discharges the capacitor banks if mains power is removed from the magnetizer or if the cabinet is opened during operation. When connected to a suitable magnetizing fixture, the magnetizer is able to disable its front panel controls if the fixture overheats. Other features include a lockout keyswitch and a current sense output jack (this connects to an oscilliscope for viewing of the magnetizing pulse). All 300-series magnetizers can be modified for computer control, photocell trigger, or autocharge operation.
