  • Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable Electrical Interface

    Eoptolink Technology Inc., Ltd.

Eoptolink is developing OSFP(Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable) a new pluggable form factor with eight high speed electrical lanes that will initially support 400 Gbps (8x50G or 4x100G). It is slightly wider and deeper than the QSFP but it still supports 32 OSFP ports per 1U front panel, enabling 12.8 Tbps per 1U switch lot. OSFP is designed to support the next generation of 800G optics modules that will use eight lanes of 100Gbps, and offers backwards compatibility with 100G QSFP.

  • Rotman Lens Designer

    Remcom Inc,

Rotman Lens Designer (RLD) is a software tool for the design, synthesis, and analysis of Rotman Lenses and their variants. It is based on Geometrical Optics combined with the classical Rotman Lens design equations. It is intended for rapid development and analysis of Rotman Lenses given several physical and electrical input parameters. RLD generates the proper lens contours, transmission line geometry, absorptive port (dummy port) geometry, provides an approximate analysis of performance, and generates geometry files for import into Remcom's XFdtd® for further analysis and fabrication.

  • SLD Light Source

    FiberLabs Inc.

The SLD light source is a light source to emit low-coherence light with a broad spectrum like LED and high brightness like LD. Light emitted from a narrow active layer like LD effectively couple to the fiber. SLD light source can be used for optical measurements and sensors, including fiber optic gyroscopes and OCT. FiberLabs provides fiber-output SLD light sources in different wavelength bands from visible to near-infrared light. Our lineup includes bench-top types convenient for experiments and easy-to-integrate module types.

  • 10 Gb/s SFP/SFP+ Evaluation Board

    EV-SFP-171 - UC Instruments, Corp.

The purpose of this SFP+ evaluation board is to provide the designer with a convenient means for evaluating SFP+ fiber optic transceiver such as 10 Gb/s(up to 16 Gb/s) SFP/SFP+ transceiver compliant with ANSI Fibre Channel FC‐PI‐5 for high speed electrical and optical specifications. This board provides SMA connectors for high speed TX and RX signals. The low speed control signals such as Tx_Fault, Rx_LOS and Rate_Selects can be controlled by using on board switches and test points. A connector for 2 wire serial interface to the module is also provided.

  • XRF

    M Series - Bowman

The M Series is the ultimate in high performance for the smallest x-ray spot sizes. The poly-capillary optics in the M Series is more advanced than the O Series, focusing the x-ray beam down to 15μm FWHM. To measure features on that scale, a 150x magnification camera is included. The field of view becomes more limited with higher magnification, so a second camera takes a macro-image of the part to be measured. The dual-camera system allows operators to see the entire part, click the image to zoom in with the high-mag camera, and pinpoint the feature to be measured.

  • Utility Detection Radar

    DS2000 - Leica Geosystems AG

There’s a lot going on underground that you need to know about before you ever start to dig. The Leica DS2000 Utility Detection Radar finds all potential threats, including non-conductive pipes and fibre optics, increasing safety by lowering the risk of accidently hitting underground assets. Increase safety, speed up work and lower asset management costs with the ability to prevent hazardous outages and collect more information. The DS2000 betters your business by making it safer, faster and more efficient.

It is a two-piece, True RMS ammeter with a fiber optic link between the high voltage sensor and the readout at ground potential. The sensor is mounted on a hotstick and slipped over a high voltage line.

  • Multiplexers (MUX)

    WDM - IXI Technology

It is highly desirable to reduce the number of cables required to communicate between spaces on Navy ships due to increased weight, cost and maintenance concerns. To reduce weight and expense, copper-based NTDS parallel and serial type cables can be converted to fiber optic and multiplexed using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology. WDM technology allows for multiple fiber optic wavelengths to be combined in a single fiber and then separated back to individual fibers at the distant end. Using Coarse WDM (CWDM) which utilizes wavelengths 20nm apart ranging from 1271 nm to 1611 nm, provides for up to 18 optical wavelengths to be combined into a single fiber. Optionally Dense WDM (DWDM) can be used allowing for up to 160 optical wavelengths.
