    The Unisim Compact is a low-cost close-match solar simulator that provides the world-leading spectral match of our award winning Unisim solar simulators in a compact, bench top unit complete with IV measurement system. As with all our Unisim solar simulators, they exceed the ASTM, IEC and JIS international standards for spectral match and temporal instability. The easy-maintenance enclosure houses a TS-Space Systems 2-zone Unisim solar simulator which combines metal halide and incandescent sources via a proprietary filter system to give an AM0 close-match spectrum (AM1.5 drop-in filter sets are available). The standard system includes an embedded source meter with complete IV measurement system (Computer, GPIB interface, IV software, MS Excel), relative irradiance indicator for monitoring lamp intensity and an electrical shutter. Product support is very important to us.     The KH23101 current caliper is a toroidal transformer used to measure EMI current. When measuring, the caliper does not directly touch the electrical conductor or the cable under test. The conductor passing through the caliper window is used as the single-turn primary wire of the transformer, and the secondary is designed to be multi-turn. Use with 50 Ω receiving system (such as EMI electromagnetic interference field strength meter or spectrum analyzer). To measure a temperature, point the meter at a target until the temperature is read. (Make sure the target area is larger than the unit’s spot size. For large target object ensure that you are within target distance.)

The probe cable is both sides (control unit and probe) and is therefore extremely easy, because if a cable breaks, the cable must only be replaced in case. The practical format of the housing with rubber reinforced sides, is hardly bigger than the probe.

    The Model 6041G-HD is a ruggedized SDI video inserter. When the unit is placed within 100 meters of an SDI video source, the 6041G-HD enables accurate time stamping of each video frame/field. Time stamping prior to any compression and transmission of the SDI stream from a remote source such as a range camera, ensures that time recorded is accurate to within 10 microseconds of the frame or field sync.. Since the unit reclocks the SDI stream, it may also be used as a repeater extending the distance from the SDI video source to the transport insertion equipment (compressor, Ethernet, or other transport means). The unit auto-detects and decodes the imaging format permitting most SDI 480i/p, 720p or 1080i/p NTSC or PAL sources to be connected without having to change system settings. The time message may be inserted into the active video image, with the color (1 of 16) and location selected by the user. When selected, the time is also inserted into the SDI meta-data (vertical ancillary packets) in accordance with MISB STD 0605.3 and NATO STANAG 4609. The time reference is derived from either the internal GPS receiver or an external IRIG B time code source. If the GPS or IRIG lock is lost the unit will automatically continue to run on an internal clock.
