  • Fourier Transform Optical Spectrum Analyzer, 350 - 1100 nm

    OSA201C - Thorlabs, Inc.

Thorlabs' Optical Spectrum Analyzers (OSAs) perform highly accurate spectral measurements. Compatible with fiber-coupled and free-space light sources, these compact benchtop instruments suit a wide variety of applications, such as analyzing the spectrum of a telecom signal, resolving the Fabry-Perot modes of a gain chip, and identifying gas absorption lines. Many commonly available OSAs use grating-based monochromators, which have slow acquisition times due to the need to mechanically scan the grating and average out noise at each wavelength. Thorlabs' OSAs acquire the spectrum via a Fourier transform using a scanning Michelson interferometer in a push/pull configuration. This approach dramatically improves the acquisition time, enables a high-precision wavelength meter mode with 7 significant figures and ±1 part-per-million accuracy, and allows the included software to provide robust statistical analysis of the acquired spectra, as explained in the Design tab.

  • Gas Filter Correlation CO Analyzer

Model T300U - Teledyne Advanced Pollution Instrumentation

The Model T300U Trace-level CO analyzer has been developed specifically to address the challenges of low level monitoring as required, for example, in the US NCore network. Using IR absorption with a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, the T300U is designed to allow ultra-sensitive CO measurements while still meeting the requirements for use as a US EPA compliance analyzer. The optical bench is enclosed in a temperature controlled oven, dramatically decreasing instrument noise and drift. The objective and field mirrors in the sample cell are gold plated to maximize signal to noise performance, while a temperature-controlled Nafion dryer on the inlet minimizes water interference caused by ambient humidity changes. Periodically, the T300U seamlessly corrects its baseline by routing the sample through a heated catalytic CO scrubber. This Auto Reference function corrects zero drift and reduces the effect of interferences.

  • LXI Remote AC Power Management Switch

60-200-001 - Digital Communication Technologies Ltd

If you have ever read the term “programmable except for the supply on/off switch” the 60-200 can now provide this additional capability in a system with the added benefit of an easy to use LXI interface. The 60-200 provides a means of remotely controlling the power status of up to 8 instruments in a system through an LXI AC power management switch. Each outlet can be timed to be switched on with a specified sequence and timing delay. The delay can be staggered to ensure that systems like PXI that are order dependent can be switched on and off in an orderly way from just one switch operation. The staggered start up limits the inrush currents normally associated with the application of power to equipment, including the earth current inrush, placing less stress on cabling and leakage breakers. Power on or off instructions can be initiated from either the front panel switch or via the LXI compliant LAN interface.

  • Meter Pulse Splitter

    SY027 - Synectic Electronics

The SY027 is designed to convert pulses from meters or other turbine devices and transmit the same pulse via two relay outputs to enable two separate instruments to measure the rate simultaneously. It can be used with electricity, gas, or water meters. The SY027 PSO has been designed for applications where a pulse is required to be isolated, re-powered and repeated on two separate outputs. It works with inputs from reed switch signals,Opto coupler, open collector, NAMUR or TTL pulse (up to 25V) with automatic debounce, as well as with high frequency pulses . The speed of pulses can be accommodated from very slow to super-fast.The standard frequency range is up to 1 kHz and a maximum switching voltage of 280V, we also have an extra fast version for a small extra charge we can reproduce pulses up to 5 kHz with a maximum switching voltage of 60V.

  • Mid-Range Gas Filter Correlation CO2 Analyzer

Model T360M - Teledyne Advanced Pollution Instrumentation

The Model T360M CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 1.28 meters. The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing excellent performance over a wide concentration range, making this instrument an ideal choice for CO2 reporting requirements associated with dilution CEMS.

  • Modular Laser Diode Controllers

    Newport Corporation

Modular laser diode controllers offer up to 16 channels of laser diode control with the flexibility of choosing laser diode driver, TEC temperature control, or laser diode controller module options that suit your needs. Everything is housed in a space saving, rack mountable instrument for simultaneous control of both current and temperature in one mainframe. Multiple levels of laser diode protection are included in the design to protect against overcurrent conditions. An independent power supply powers each channel, providing protection and stability for the laser diode. Remote communication through an IEEE/GPIB interface simplified testing and control of multiple devices. LabVIEW® drivers are available for any combination of mainframe and module.

  • Optical Scanning Systems

    Electro-Optical Products Corp.

Resonant scanners have virtually unlimited operating life and a proven record of years of performance. Resonating at their natural frequency (sinusoidal motion) and a ONE FIXED frequency combined with high device "Q" (in the order of 100 to 1000) assure frequency stability, low reaction forces and consumption of low electrical drive power. High flexural stiffness provides good resistance to shock and vibration, as well as low wobble and good scan repeatability. The scanners are excellent candidates for a multitude of applications that require line scan imaging with excellent resolution and with minimal distortion. Resonant scanners are especially suitable for dedicated, high volume, OEM industrial applications that can easily be incorporated in small size, hand held and portable instruments, sub systems and systems. Scanners are used in continuous inspection systems to perform 100% inspection to detect defects with one scanner or with multiple line scan.

  • Power Analysers

    Mors Smitt Group

The quality of all kinds of products is vital and the energy network as well. This does not mean that the electricity network is actually clean. Different processes are detected, such as Flicker, surges and voltage dips. It is necessary to include these processes to a minimum. The power analysers will help the user to draw conclusions on the basis of periodic measurements, so that these problems can be solved. The European regulation EN 50160 is one of the most important regulations for measurements of LV-installations. The essential values for LV-installations are subscribed in this regulation. Besides the EN50160 there is another important standard, the EN 61000-4-30. This standard ensures that different PQ instruments use the same definitions, and measurement techniques, for various power quality parameters: sags/dips, swells, frequency, harmonics, Flicker etc.. Use of this standard ensures that users use the same terms, measurements and definitions. In order to measure and analyse a LV-installation, according to the EN 50160, two power analysers are available within the Nieaf-Smitt program:
