  • Scanning Vibrating Electrode Technique

    VS-SVET - Ametek Scientific Instruments

The Scanning Vibrating Electrode Technique uses a single wire to measures voltage drop in solution. This voltage drop is a result of local current at the surface of a sample. Measuring this voltage in solution images the current at the sample surface. Current can be naturally occurring from a corrosion or biological process, or the current can be externally controlled using a galvanostat.

  • Electrochemical Analyzer/Workstation

    600E - CH Instruments, Inc.

The Model 600D series is designed for general purpose electrochemical measurements. The figure below shows the block diagram of the instrument. The system contains a fast digital function generator, high speed data acquisition circuitry, potentiostat, and a galvanostat (available only in select models).

  • Electrochemical Workstations

    ZAHNER-Elektrik

Besides a potentiostat / galvanostat all our electrochemical workstations include also a frequency response analyzer unit (FRA) in their basic configuration. This makes each of our electrochemical workstations a highly versatile basis equipment for a multitude of electrochemical investigation methods on batteries, accumulators and fuel cells as well as on high impedance objects such as coatings and laminates. Due to their hardware extensions slots our instruments can be extended to multi purpose data acquisition and control test stands.

  • Ammeter

    Gill AC - ACM Instruments

ACM's flagship instrument offers a Potentiostat, Galvanostat and Zero Resistance Ammeter with integrated Frequency Response Analyser and Sweep Generator in one.Electrochemical tests such as AC Impedance (EIS) and standard DC tests including LPR and current and voltage noise are included, making this instrument extremely versatile and great value for money. To better meet your specific needs why not customise your instrument with our options, so versatile are our instruments that many options are even available to be fitted retrospectively, making our instruments the right choice now and for the long term.

  • Power Potentiostat/Galvanostat

    1100C - CH Instruments, Inc.

The Model 1100B series power potentiostat/galvanostat is designed for electrochemical applications that require relatively large current and high compliance voltage, such as battery studies, corrosion, electrolysis, and electroplating. The current range is 2 A, and the compliance voltage is 25 V. The instrument contains a high speed digital function generator, a fast data acquisition system, filters for current signals, iR compensation circuitry, a potentiostat, and a galvanostat (Model 1140B). The potential control range is 10 V.

  • Weld Testers

    ACM Instruments

The Weld Tester is our most versatile electrochemical monitoring instrument. Housed in a substantial metal case with brushed anodised aluminium front panel and green military specification connectors this equipment looks functional and professional. The top row of connectors are exactly the same as provided on a Gill 12 whilst the bottom row are for the additional weld segments. Using the same Potentiostat, Galvanostat, Zero Resistance Ammeter with integrated Frequency Response Analyser and Sweep Generator as a Gill 12 allows all the tests supplied with the Gill 12 to be supplied with the Weld Tester.

  • Parallel systems

    ACM Instruments

Did you know you can couple several Gill AC, Gill 12 and Weld Testers together or any combination of Gill AC, Gill 12 or Weld Tester, to give you a parallel logging multiple Potentiostat / Galvanostat / ZRA / FRA system, capable of recording from each working electrode at up to 60 readings per second. Coupling several Gill ACs or Gill 12s together gives the added abilities of the Weld tester and the ability to perform fast sweeps. Using our latest software, it has never been easier to couple instruments together to provide a Parallel System. In fact up to 32 instruments can be controlled at the same time. These instruments can either have individually enclosures or be rack mounted.
