It is seamlessly integrated into the Advanced Design System (ADS), the only design simulation platform that enables the co-design of IC, package and board in high-frequency and hi-speed applications. ADS seamlessly integrates system, circuit, and full 3D electromagnetic simulation with Keysight's test instrumentation to perform single pass successful electronic designs repeatedly.

  • Waveguide Switches

    Dow-Key Mircowave Corporation

Waveguide switches are electromagnetic switches with hollow circular or rectangular cross-sections and are used for routing RF energy in microwave communications, broadcasting, and in radar applications. Waveguide switches can be used to transfer both power and communication signals, and the bandwidth of a waveguide is in relation to its size, and thus always referred to by its size (e.g. WR112, WR90, WR75 etc.). Compared to coaxial switches, waveguides can route extremely high power signals over a narrow bandwidth at low to high frequencies, and now Lightweight Waveguide series is available.

  • Human Exposure Measurements to Luminaries

    AFJ Instruments

Through different ways of coupling between luminaries and humans, a level of exposure of a person to electromagnetic fields can be derived. One part of the exposure is based on capacitive coupling between lighting equipment and person. This creates induced internal electric field that must be evaluated using an EMI receiver and a Van Der Hoofden test head.

  • 3-AXIS DIGITAL AC GAUSSMETER: 1-200 kHz

IDR-200 - Integrity Design and Reseach Corp.

Typical Applications include checking the frequencies and magnetic fields (BW: 1 kHz -200 kHz) produced by equipments such as computer monitors, television sets, video display terminals, induction heaters, industrial, Radar, scientific/medical equipment, walk-through/hand-held detectors and ground wave energy network; etc. For more information about VLF magnetic fields and the VLF gaussmeter , see the paper titled "Very-low-frequency electromagnetic field detector with data acquisition," IEEE Trans. Instrum. Meas.,vol. 58, no. 1, pp. 129-140, Dec. 2008. by S. Hanna.

  • Burst Generator

    NSG 3040 - Teseq AG

NSG 3040 is an easy-to-use multifunction generator that simulates electromagnetic interference effects for immunity testing in conformity with international, national and manufacturers' standards including the latest IEC/EN standards. The NSG 3040 system is designed to fulfill conducted EMC test requirements for CE mark testing, including Combination Wave Surge (4.4 kV), Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) pulses (4.8 kV) and Power Quality Testing (PQT). Expansion capabilities enable the system to be configured for a much broader range of applications including Telecom Surge 10/700 and Magnetic Field tests.

  • Nuclear EMC Testing Services

    Washington Laboratories LTD.

The implementation of digital control and monitoring systems in nuclear power plants drives EMC requirements for new and replacement equipment to be used in nuclear plants. For the past 20 years, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) has been developing test methods to demonstrate compliance with EMC requirements. The methods and limits are called out in EPRI TR-102323. The first issue of this report was released in 1994 and the current revision (Revision 4) was released in 2013. The original report and basis included results from electromagnetic surveys at seven nuclear power plants in the United States.

  • Other Environmental Testers

    GAO Tek Inc.

GAOTek’s environmental testers can be used to measure parameters such as humidity, temperature, wind speed or velocity, wind direction, air quality, electromagnetic waves, ionizing radiation and more. Environmental testers are applicable in climate monitoring to occupational health and safety (OHS) applications. Our environmental testers are useful tools for collecting data about the immediate surroundings. Depending on the model, an environmental tester can function as a data logger for long-term data by collecting and storing measurement data over a certain period. Our environmental test solutions are affordable and dependable and are perfect for general to specialized jobs.

  • RFID Tags

    GAO Tek Inc.

RFID tags bring the future of technology to today. Radio-frequency Identification(RFID) tags can be placed on almost any piece of clothing, cash, animals and even humans. Tags use electromagnetic fields to identify and track the desired object. Active tags are powered by a battery located inside the tag, and may operate over hundreds of meters away from the RFID reader. RFID tags have been expanding ever since their inception – they became especially popular when used in toll readers and assembly lines to track the product’s progress throughout the assembly line.

  • Whole Body EM Phantoms

EM - PHANTOM - Schmid & Partner Engineering AG

The POsable Phantom for Electromagnetic sYstems Evaluations (POPEYE) is an anatomically correct human phantom based on a torso shell w/ head with posable arms, hands and legs. This radio frequency (RF) human has been designed to meet the requirements for test configurations for which the effects of the body on the EM performance cannot be neglected, such as operating tablet and laptop computers and other body-mounted transmitters. With a simple adjustment (one tightening screw), the arms, hands and legs can be positioned accordingly for conducting simulations of any usage or operation (standing, sitting, arms raised, talking position, etc...).

  • Wireless Test Labs

    The Howland Company

The Howland Company wireless test labs were developed in collaboration with Motorola engineering. The first priority was to design products that would set the industry standard for accurate measurements. With this goal in mind, it became apparent that how one mounts the handset to the positioning system is critical if the measurement uncertainty is to be minimized. The classical approach would have been to mount the handset on a two-axis positioner. However, if this is done, then the positioner structure, even if it is plastic, perturbs the electromagnetic field and dramatically increases the measurement uncertainty and creates ''gravity vector'' problems which contribute additional measurement uncertainty.
