  • Burner Control Flame Sensors

SPECTRA BC11 IR and BC11 UV - Ametek Power Instruments

The SPECTRA™ BC (burner control) sensors are extremely robust, compact, solid-state optical flame sensors that offer a host of features and provide maximum performance and reliability. SPECTRA flame sensors feature IR or UV detectors making them suitable for a wide variety of fuels, including coal, oil and gas. These units are 100% solid-state which enable the SPECTRA BC11 to be among the most compact industrial flame sensors available. There are no tubes or shutters to fail. Installation is simplified as the loop powered design only requires a single twisted pair cable for wiring connections. The 4-20 mA analog output provides direct connection to burner management systems eliminating the need for separate signal conditioners. High-temperature electronics enables the sensor to function at elevated operating temperatures.

  • Stack Gas Analysis System

    ENDA-5000 series - HORIBA, Ltd.

Continuous simultaneous and high-precision measurement of NOx, SO2, CO, CO2 and O2.HORIBA has over 100,000 CEM systems installed and 30 years of quality and experience. That is the base on which HORIBA's new ENDA-5000 series of stack-gas analysis systems are built. These systems have a small footprint and use cross-flow modulated non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) and magneto-pneumatic detectors that are inherently drift-free. The ENDA-5000 series are superior continuous analysis systems that perform reliably for difficult exhaust gas measurements, when measurement errors cannot be tolerated. This CEM series features a new intuitive touch panel that makes every operation available with the touch of a single button. The ENDA-5000 series systems are also designed for ease of maintenance. They are ideal for a variety of uses, including emissions monitoring from steam boilers, refuse incinerators, and electric power generation plants to assure pollution standards are being met.

  • Series Flame Detector

    DF-TV7 - Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection

The device offers a wide range of output options, as standard and is suitable for use in SIL 2 applications. The detector can be configured to communicate with a wide range of fire panels, controllers, and PLCs and offer HART 7 and Syntel (Lonworks) protocols for addressable event monitoring. The devices come standard with a configurable 4-20mA or 0-22mA (PLC) output, two configurable alarm relays, and two detector status LEDs.All MultiFlame detectors are equipped with a continuous optical lens auto-check to ensure that the optical path is clear and that the detector functions properly. Sensors can be replaced easily in the field without removing any cable glands. Devices are easy to test and configure using a TLU600 wireless hand-held unit that is approved for use in hazardous areas. The TLU600 can also be used for wireless testing of the optical and output circuits. The TLU600 can also be used for wireless testing of the optical and output circuits.

  • Environmental (Radiation) Monitoring System

    Hawk® EMS - International Medcom

The Hawk® EMS is a wall or tripod-mounted radiation monitoring and alarm system designed for use with the Hawk® Radius dual sensor radiation probe. Each EMS System comes with a Hawk Radius Probe. The system is extremely energy efficient and can run for weeks on an internal 9 volt back-up battery if power fails. It is well suited for operating on a small solar panel, which is an optional accessory. The Hawk® EMS features two displays that show the radiation levels measured by each of the probe’s two detectors: the weatherized “pancake-style” Geiger-Mueller tube — which measures alpha (if configured for it), beta, low energy gamma, and x-radiation — and the energy-compensated gamma tube which measures penetrating gamma dose rate. The probe can be mounted next to the EMS system or outdoors, or in adjacent rooms on cables up to 100 ft in length. Standard cable is 3 meters in length. Optional signal booster can support cable lengths longer than 100 feet. Optionally the system can also be configured to share data on ethernet or wireless networks.

  • Spectral Response SystemsQuantum Efficiency SystemsIPCE Measurement Systems

    Photo Emission Tech., Inc.

QE system provides electronics and software designed for fully automated measurement of external quantum efficiency of solar cells. All systems include probes and a fixed plate sample stage for samples up to 150 mm x 150 mm. The main system components include: custom designed software, measurement electronics, and computer system (Windows 8 operating system). The measurement involves focusing monochromatic light to a spot on the device under test, then accurately measuring the photon flux and current from the test cell. The system utilizes a dual beam configuration with lock-in detection, providing an absolute accuracy of ±3%. The QE system uses a grating monochrometer with silicon/InGaAs/Ge detectors. The system includes automatic order sorting filters and two light sources for monochromatic illumination (a Xenon- arc lamp and a halogen lamp). A single lock-in amplifier is used to measure both the reference detector and test device. The main system comes with all the hardware needed to measure quantum efficiency, a fixed plate sample stage and probes.

  • Multi Interface USB Adapter

SUB-20 can be used with PC 64/32 bit running Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Win7/Win8, MacOS, Unix/Linux and DOS.Working with SUB-20 does not require deep knowledge of low layers of the specific interface. All you need to do is to call right API function at the right place. And this is really very easy as API functions are well documented and "exampled". API set is relatively small but comprehensive.SUB-20 is equipped with status Leds, optional LCD and buttons. All this guarantee fast and comfortable development, field debugging and maintenance of applications including option of standalone operation.

  • Non Destructive Testing (NDT)

    Keighley Laboratories LTD

NDT covers a wide group of testing techniques used to evaluate the properties of a material, part, product, weld or system without causing damage. NDT carried out at KLL includes:Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) is used for the detection of surface breaking discontinuities on magnetic and non-magnetic metallic materials.Fluorescent and colour contrast penetrants are available to be used in the following methods:-Water washableSolvent removablePost emulsifiableMagnetic Particle Inspection (MT/MPI) is used for the detection of surface breaking and slightly sub-surface (up to 2mm) discontinuities.Bench type crack detectors and portable units are employed producing various waveforms (i.e. A.C, HWDC and induced magnetic flow) to give both circular and longitudinal magnetism.On-site testing is carried out using electro magnetic yokes and permanent magnets producing induced magnetic flow.Ultrasonic Flaw Detection (UT), also known as Ultrasonic Inspection, is used for the detection of volumetric discontinuities in ferrous and non-ferrous products (forgings and castings etc.), and welds in magnetic and non-magnetic materials.UT is capable of penetrating metals, dependent on the material characteristics, up to 10m in length. Some thickness and depth checks can also be carried out using ultrasound.Radiography services are available through sub-contract booked in advance.
