Apogee Instruments, Inc.
Linear OutputThe Apogee chlorophyll concentration meter is calibrated to measure chlorophyll concentration in leaves with units of mol of chlorophyll per m2. This eliminates the problems with relative indexes of chlorophyll concentration. For reference and comparison purposes, the Apogee meter also outputs relative units [CCI or SPAD] if desired. For details see: Parry, C., Blonquist Jr., J.M., & Bugbee, B. 2014. In situ measurement of leaf chlorophyll concentration: analysis of the optical/absolute relationship. Plant, Cell and Environment 37:2508-2502.

PSP32 Plant Stress Probe -
Opti-Sciences, Inc.
The monitor chlorophyll fluorometer system is designed to dramatically increase the capabilities of plant monitor systems while also providing more affordable solutions for measuring larger plant populations. The revolutionary daylight dark adaptation capability allows measurement of photoprotective mechanisms, state transitions, chloroplast migration, and photoinhibition at different times of day.

INFINITY-CLW ACLW2-USB -
JFE Advantech Co., Ltd.
Infinity-CLW is an autonomously deployable data logger for long-term chlorophyll and turbidity measurements. The light sources (LEDs) of chlorophyll and turbidity sensors are highly stable, Minimizing the change over time. The instrument has a mechanical wiper that periodically sweeps to inhibit biological growth on the optical window. The turbidity sensor has a good correlation with SS (Suspended Solid) over the range. Infinity-CLW provides Highly accurate and long-term stable chlorophyll and turbidity data in oceans, rivers and freshwater.

JFE Advantech Co., Ltd.
The YODA profiler (“Yoing” Ocean Data Acquisition Profiler) is a “tow-yo” instrument to profile the water column with high spatial resolution from small boats without occupying much space. The instrument is provided with a deployment winch and sensors measuring conductivity, temperature, pressure, chlorophyll, turbidity and dissolved oxygen. The brush at the top of the instrument allows for a stabilizing effect on the free-fall sinking speed, which is approximately constant at 0.2 m/s. All data are stored internally and downloaded into a PC through a wet-connector and interface.
