  • Rack Mount Audio & Video Monitors

    CENSUS Series - Multidyne

Working with audio is a complex endeavor. There are broadcast compliance challenges, ensuring that audio loudness thresholds are not exceeded. There are the quality control essentials that assure broadcast signal integrity. Depending on format, the number of signals to monitor and maintain range from very low to high density. MultiDyne acquired Census Digital in 2020 to problem-solve these broadcast and production audio challenges. MultiDyne’s rackmounted CENSUS Series provide reliable confidence monitoring for studios, mobile production and broadcast operations. Each addresses signal density needs for SDI, analog, AES/EBU,MADI or Dante IP audio, and simplifies how engineers visually and aurally monitor individual audio channels, adjust loudness levels and downmix channels. A consistent front panel design and intuitive UI assures a familiar user experience across all models while extracting audio information, setting key parameters and maintaining quality control.

  • Multiprotocol Transceivers

    Analog Devices Inc.

Analog Devices’ RS-232/RS-485 multiprotocol transceivers are the only parts in the market that allow protocol switching and allow for switching between half-/full-duplex operation and switching on/off termination resistors, both of which minimize physical user intervention when reconfiguring networks. Features include 3.3 V to 5 V operation, up to ±26 kV ESD, a logic supply pin, and small LFCSP packages. As large-scale computing applications typically require more protocols than the RS-232 and RS-485 protocols found in everyday applications, we support legacy protocols. These include V.28 (RS-232), V.35, RS-449, RS-530, RS-530-A, V.36, or X.21. Software-selectable protocol, cable termination, and data terminal equipment (DTE) or data communications equipment (DCE) configurations all provide convenient flexibility.

  • Serial Bus Buffers, Extenders, and Accelerators

    Analog Devices Inc.

The Analog Devices family of I2C solutions support hot swappable, 2-wire bidirectional bus buffers to allow I/O card insertion into a live backplane without corruption of the data and clock busses. Additional supported 2-wire buses include SMBus, PMBus, the ATCA intelligent platform management bus (IPMB), and the HDMI DDC bus. I2C/SMBus Accelerators improve bus transitions to allows multiple device connections or a longer, more capacitive interconnect, without compromising slew rates or bus performance. ADI's software-programmable and pin-selectable I2C multiplexers help resolve I2C address limitations, increase fan-in or fan-out, and integrate bus buffers and rise time accelerators for an all-in-one solution. Resistor configurable I2C address translators can be configured with over 100 unique slave addresses to allow multiple slave devices with the same address to coexist on the same bus.
