A Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV) measures fluid velocity by utilizing coherence of laser light. It detects the Doppler shift frequency of the scattering light of particles in the fluid and calculates the velocity of the particles (fluid). With a LDV system, non-intrusive measurements without disturbing the measuring object, liquid or gas flow, are achieved. Collimators
Collimators are optical systems used to imitate standard targets placed in "optical infinity" (very long distance). The collimators are used for projection of image of reference targets into direction of tested imagers. According to type of optical elements used in design, collimators are divided into two groups: reflective collimators and refractive collimators. Reflective collimators due to their wide spectral range are almost exclusively used in systems for testing thermal imagers and are also preferable in systems testing TV cameras, SWIR imagers, laser systems or multi-sensor surveillance systems. Refractive collimators are mostly used in systems for testing night vision devices or TV cameras working in visible/near infrared range.

Precision Integrated Analog Front End, Controller, & PWM for Battery Test & Formation Systems
The AD8452 combines a precision analog front-end controller and switch mode power supply (SMPS), pulse-width modulator (PWM) driver into a single silicon platform for high volume battery testing and formation manufacturing. A precision instrumentation amplifier (in-amp) measures the battery charge/discharge current to better than ±0.1% accuracy, while an equally accurate difference amplifier measures the battery voltage.
