Electromechanical Switches DC to 40 GHz
Fairview Microwave’s electromechanical switches exhibit extremely low insertion loss repeatability with guaranteed levels of 0.03 to 0.05 dB over 5 to 10 million switching cycles, depending on the model. Performance includes low insertion loss of 0.3 dB with high isolation of 100 dB typical, and input power ratings of up to 70 watts CW and up to 1 watt for hot switching applications. The lightning wave impulse current generator is an impulse current generator that generates a simulated lightning current waveform . Its working process is as follows: first, the transformer charges the capacitor bank through the silicon pile, when the charging voltage reaches a predetermined value, the spark gap is triggered, and the capacitor is discharged through the total inductance and total resistance of the circuit. When the resistance is greater than or equal to the critical damping value, a unidirectional impulse current wave is generated in the circuit. When the resistance is less than the critical damping value, an oscillating impulse current wave is generated. The magnitude of the impact current amplitude is related to the circuit parameters. When the capacitance value and charging voltage are the same, the smaller the inductance value, the greater the current amplitude. In order to obtain as much current as possible, a pulse capacitor with a small inductance value is usually selected, and the total length of the connecting line should be as short as possible when arranging the main capacitor, so that the total loop inductance value can be reduced as much as possible.

The models provide digital output, a high-speed sampling rate and insusceptibility to electro-magnetic noise. ACH-600RS is a highly sensitive capacitance water level meters. With the new system, a maximum of four different sensors can be connected to the compact interface unit, enabling simultaneous recording on a personal computer. Additionally, the system can provide analog output as well as necessary. While conventional water level and wave height meters cannot be used near velocity sensors, our instrument can be as near as 5 cm without increasing noise, due to its special isolated circuit. The result is an innovative system that is capable of achieving highly accurate data.
