Crown high voltage, transformer type hipot insulation testers are safe, easy to use for quick, positive determination of grounds, shorts, and broken wires in motors, transformers and other low voltage equipment or wiring systems. A turn of the selector switch gives a selection of seven voltages; 500, 1080, 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000 or 2500 volts calibrated to +/- 5% accuracy; NEMA recommendation for insulation test is twice normal voltage plus 1000 volts. Since this instrument has a capacity of 2500 volts, it readily accommodates all normal requirements.

The operator (wearer) is tested for a resistance to ground of greater than 250K ohms and less than1,200,000 ohms. The upper limit notifies you of an unacceptably high resistance value (IE possible loss of effective dissipation) and the lower limit warns of unsafe low resistance (possible risk of electric shock from surrounding motors, live wires etc.). The unit is not switchable.

As a special feature, the BLU110T model enables capacity testing of single PB, Ni-based as well as Li cells (with current up to 100 A).The capacity test is conducted in an accurate, user-friendly way. Also, it is in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.BLU-T battery load bank enables setting the discharge current up to 350 A, with 0,1 A resolution. If higher currents are required, the BLU-T units can be connected in parallel, or BXL-T additional load units can be linked.The instrument offers a high power-to-weight ratio.
